@@hiperego intersect literally explains it in the video. Allied was a great ADC player. Eventually, he moved to being a caster for HiRez. He was diagnozed with gastro-esophageal cancer in 2016. The Smite community organized a massive fundraising event called "#AlliedStrong", it featured large icons of the community. In Feb 2017, he announced that he was cancer-free. However, in March, the doctors found multiple metastases in his organs, and he signed a Do Not Resuscitate form, iirc. In April, Allied announced that he was terminal. In May, he was on heavy medication until he inevitably passed away within a day he was hospitalized. The man fought a very lengthy and gruesome battle against this disease. It's a tragic death. He's getting pentas in heaven now. RIP

I was playing lancelot last night and got killed by a merlin beyblade and I went to check the damage on that because it chunked me, he hit me for exactly 667 and I laughed my ass off. coincidentally this video came out the next day

I liked him on the AFK and NV rosters but after that he really struggled. People still would rather hate on him though even though he was pretty good at one point just never the best. There was just a crazy transition where the SPL as a whole was just getting better and better and it just seemed like he didn’t follow it. Most people just don’t like his personality and call him toxic but also most of those people weren’t around during the AFK/NV days. He was one of the first few who pioneered Athena jungle.

@@dakodaarmstrong98 I think top 3 jungle is a bit of stretch. NV was good at the time but it also had solo cyclonespin and allied adc AND also incon in his prime. Weak3n was good at the time but top 3? He was a better facilitator jungle for his side lanes he was never really the carry. And this might be a hot take BUT it’s when cyclonespin was at his best. I know he won worlds as an adc but he was nuts in solo.

He just didn’t have it and it didn’t seem like even cared about SPL anymore just streaming. Literally all of the people who call him “trash” weren’t even around for when he was good so most people just crap on him anyway because it’s trendy. If he cut it off after AFK/NV he would’ve had a good run but at the time I think he was still building up his stream .

he won worlds back in the day on pc. He just peaked back then, and now gets by making content to an audience that he knows will agree with every hot take he has. He does not try to challenge any thought, it is all over blown reactions dialed up to 11 every patch notes. Unless it is a buff to a jungler then it was justified because he says the role is shit and you cant keep up in xp lol.
