He should be proud of himself! I grew up in a very different demographic and I can tell you my Dad let me down in many ways, especially at that age. You are obviously a wonderful father. You don’t have to be wealthy or white/yellow/purple… or much else. You simply have to be loving and supportive and a great listener and that is what your kids need. To know they can trust that Dad truly cares and will always d his best to ‘be there’ when they need him! THAT IS EVERYTHING! (goes for Mom’s too).
