The VOC foundation is your American boogeyman, it doesn't bear much influence on the scientific consensus outside of America. Stalin's role in Holodomor is accepted by the majority of historians on the post-soviet space (excluding Russia obviously), including Ukraine itself. I swear, until western leftists carry water for the Russian imperialist efforts, any dialog between Eastern European and Western socialists is impossible.
