As we know the main 5 crowns hold power, green, yellow, blue, purple, Red, all capable of great power, then the lesser crowns held by a few shop keepers and I believe hold no power and are mostly makeshift, the crown we see in the tablet temples is unlike any of the lesser crowns, but it is like the main 5, three spikes and an eye like the red crown, we may not know who made the tablets but we know that the crown we see in there most likely belongs to them
Him being a middle child explain so much why he is so angsty when you get in into your cult. He instulted me and said when he was a leader his followers had cool candels (like buddy if you wanted a skull candel you only need to ask) and he kinda has abandoned issues, because he has ask me multiple times to get stuff from his siblings realm.
there was also a part with a skull of a god and mushroom eyes which most likely refferes to spore grotto as it is a skull on the map, which would mean that they live niside of a god's skull
on the other hand sozo has also a mushroom on his head and if i recall corectly the skull has too, plus he hates mushroomos (when he eats them, you can read his mind and that's what he'll say)
I was gonna say the bishops weren’t exactly a smart bunch as their plan to prevent the prophecy was to kill every lamb, despite Narinder’s domain is literally DEATH, so pretty much serving the prophecy on a silver plater. But then you realize their smartest guy Shamura suffered quite a nasty head trauma. So they actually couldn’t think things through
My goodness this is HEAT but I’m wondering bc this is a sword and axe of the red crown couldn’t the tablets be from one of the failed vessels before our lamby lamb so he was surving while also having his own thoughts about things?
Well the lore has been updated with the second issue of the comics being sent yesterday. I have the digital version of the comics and I will get them physically in december. In one of the pages it shows 3 of the older gods that used to live. They don't have a name but there crowns are interesting, they have the eye colors of the bishops crowns but have a very different shape Edit:actually now that I look at the the 2 of the 3 have already seen colors, on has red like the one who waits, the other has green like leshy and the other i think it's pinkish
In the zealous weapon descriptions there is someone referred to as “The Great Fanatic”, I wonder if perhaps they have some connection to the red crown and possibly have been a previous bearer of the red crown or someone devoted to the old gods. Whatever the case they seem to be of some amount of relevance to the story if they have been mentioned multiple times
I would like to point out that we don’t know who ambushed who in the start. But by the way the bishops and Narinder speak of each other, I think that it was Narinder who tried to kill his siblings for power.
@fatfishsheldon the devs confirmed that they both use they/them. In the stream, lamb draws their own head with the text They Them Beneath it and in a reddit post by a community manager, the gpat is referred to as they them. We are talking about the characters' lamb and goat, not the player here.
okay i didn't watch this video while writing this comment but i wanted to tell how i know the lore of the game okay so there were 5 bishops and one of them went berserk and wrecked the other 4 but he had skill issue and they put him in a prison and the 4 bishops had to make sacrifices in order for him to not get out and ur a lamb the last of ur kind they bouta safrifice your ass but the bishops were stoopid and sent u to the locked up bishop and u make a deal with him and he asked to make a cult in his name (on a side note : u fail his quest cuz the default name of the cult is "cult of the lamb" so it's in ur name) and then he gives u his badass powers and u kill all the bishops and u either fight him at the end or surrender.
My Theory: The Great Ones bestowed crowns upon hundreds. The only limit to them seemed to be how many worshipped or followed these crown bearers. But after some time, they were all killed and the crowns went missing. Haro seems to be the god of hunting, but gave up his crown in order to survive, with the writer of the notes not agreeing with it The Three feathered served as keeper of artifacts as is their purpose and remained as catalogs of the forgotten gods. Collecting fragments of the pasts. Weapons, Destinies and Relics. Eventually, only the Five remained. I think that as the weaker gods disappeared, they became stronger as the became the most worshipped. However, maybe the force that killed off the ancient gods will return sensing the Bishops demise.
