As someone who just returned, this was great, even if it doesn't account for MSQ stuff from this point to before Heavensward. I watched this, knowing I wanted a refresher. However I was confused to find in Heavensward all the Scions missing. Just know, viewers, there is a lot of goings on between where this leaves off, and where Heavensward picks up. A whole lot, the entire 'Crystal Braves' arc, so to speak that is A Realm Awoken, Through the Maelstrom, Defenders of Eorzea, Dreams of Ice, and Before the Fall (all base FF14 ARR quests that lead to Heavensward).

I found your channel because of the SCP stuff, but this video is the one I keep coming back to watch. I love FF14 and I love your format for story telling. I've just finished ARR, I started in 2013 🤣🤣 it's been on and off to say the least...most of the time I've had a loose grasp at best, but watching this video is enhancing the game massively and going into Heavensward I'll be invested in characters and able to get much more out of it.

It is literally only 4 hours of ingame footage with minimal editing and a story being told while the videoclips roll in the back ground... Not at all enourmous if you ask me. He gets my like for the originality, and genuinity in the Story telling itself.

Yes the classes do offer a bit of twist and side story. IF you truly want to know everything you have to do every class :D. This becomes less of an issue as the grand companies kind of fall off in later expansions losing a bit for their flavor and more contained main story.

This is so great, thank you. I'm watching this as a supplement to the story while I play through it. Some of the text scenes are so long and I get tired and skip through some parts. I watch this to help fill me in on any bits that I got too tired to sit through and it has helped my experience greatly.

This helped me understand the story as someone who has dislexia and adhd. A lot of the dialouge in this game can be obtuse or seemingly minor, and its hard to know what parts matter and what parts do not. That said I love this game and the way this video is paced makes me love the story too.

I'm seriously hoping Heavensward is as good as people say, because between how obtuse the dialogue is, and how often most quests are needless wastes of time in the middle of serious crises, I cannot immerse myself in the main story at all.

I started completely skipping through the dialogue in ARR because so much of it was wild goose chases and wastes of time, so this vid is an excellent way to get some context on what I was actually doing during the main scenario.

This is the foundation that the 3 expansions (Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers) build on. The upcoming expansion, Endwalker, will be the conclusion to this story. The game will be starting a new overarching story in 6.1.

This game (FF14) Have a Lot of references of Past games, but The Lore/Story/Narrative Have nothing with The Other games Every Final Fantasy game is like a New Lore and Universe, but using some familiar creatures, Weapons, classes etc But they dont follow The same "rule", not even How Magic functions or The "Gods"
