It's quite unnerving that I went to school with this guy. He was the head boy when I was in grade 10, and I never imagined life would turn out this way for him.

Because imagine having a glamorous career like actuarial career but still being poor. Seeing all your peers flourishing, living large in joburg etc. I have a reason to believe this mother also raised him as her key to soft life which is why he thought it was okay to control people. Clearly his mother owned him. His mother played a major role in his tragic life. Saaad. My heart goes mostly to Tshepang who was caught up in his tragic life story. I’m so sad man!
I feel so sorry for the boy. He was under his mum's thumb. How can a parent demand half the salary of their child AND ask for him to build her a house?? Abused people abuse others, hurt people hurt others, dominated people dominate others. Is it fair? No!! Is it acceptable? Absolutely not!!! My mother made me pay her mortgage DURING my university years. That AND food, electricity etc. EVERYTHING. I had to get 3 jobs on top of going to lectures. I was sleeping 3 hrs a day, my health was suffering and my grades were in shambles. I had no choice but to drop out. But I STILL supported her fully. And her thank you is to call me a failure because even though I took care of everything, and paid off her home, she wanted a BIGGER house and a nice car. Ruined my life.

It has also proven that it doesn't prevent or keep the same wealth, name you will be protecting. It doesnt automatically brings loyalty and happiness.
