Where is all this weakness coming from??? Our young men are really struggling with the smallest kind of rejection and/or conflict. You cannot be part of a problem and then be surprised when your partner leaves because you refuse to fix the problem. All these men are given plenty chances yet they act as though they were somehow wronged and don't deserve to be left. This man is in court smiling because he'd rather go to prison than have someone leave him.
i really don't want to blame the upbringing but most of these stories ,it's either the abuser was raised by a single parent or by both parents but only one of them was morally there,one of the parents could have been emotionally absent while physically present .so i think the anger gets triggered when a lover leaves and the fear of being rejected as a kid comes up as revenge from that childhood trauma but unfortunately it gets taken out on the wrong person. also the abuser sees the lover as a parent to bridge the void of an absent parent ,so since he couldn't fight for himself as a kid,he chose ose to kill than being left again and to his mind he is a perfect man so he can't comprehend why would she leave him,whereas he was larger than life, Let's pray for our sons and Daughters

The biggest trauma is growing up without a father figure. I was a teacher in SA and 90% of my black pupils were raised by single women. The trauma is worse on boys

I only recently stumbled on 'The Plug" and I am thoroughly enjoying the episodes - actually I am binging. It's truly an eye opener for me. I live in the Caribbean, W.I to be more precise. While I am aware that there is violence and cruelty in this world, it's rather shocking to see that this level of GBV against women is soooo prevalent among the Millennials and Generation Z in SA... Hummmm... I am of Generation X so it is somewhat difficult to wrap my mind around tha type of premeditated violence. We in the caribbean are not exempt from our share violence among these generations. However, GBV against women is not prevalent. Young men NEED to learn and understand the rights of women. It's so selfish to take the life of a wife, girlfriend and mother, simply because they choose to part ways, most times for their own sanity. We NEED to pray for our men, especially the generations referred earlier - we just cant cease praying to Almighty Jah to save our men. Thanks for sharing. Continue the great work that you are doing. @MrEvansjethro By nerd I am I'm no way saying he is or isn't a genius( I would have said geek if that were the case), a nerd is different someone who lacks social skills not due to some disability but do to an extreme focus in themselves almost in a selfish way and this enables them to only focus on improving themselves and not a care for other people. Just an observation. There many people who are gifted in terms of IQ that is the closest we have to a genius, however most Actual geniuses are Autistic with servant syndrome which is less than 1% of the global population and proving these things is almost near impossible which is why we say they are genius after their death when we have a full picture example Einstein, was dismally bad in German(though being german) and English and Geography, but he excelled in physics and mathematics. In the modern IQ test he would not have score as gifted maybe above average but not Gifted because he was weak in language (see why that's hard to test?). And lastly getting away with murder is not necessarily a sign of being a genius by a sign of sociopathy as you are very methodical in killing someone very robotic no emotions or a guilt conscious these things dont get in the way causing you not to make silly mistakes that could resulti in breakthroughs in investigations.

When a person doesn't want, you anymore it is difficult to swallow, but there must be acceptance from which ever side..The biggest problem is bottling everything inside and not speaking to trusted people and allow yourself to mourned the loss.
