As is stated in the game, the events between Shadowmoon Valley/Frostfire Ridge and Nagrand are months apart. That and the fact that Nagrand is the Throne of the Elements propably help a lot.

You realise he only covered the very basic mainstory? It's just as big of a snorefest with all the sidequests

You're misinterpreting the signs. The elements have precious few shaman left among the orcs by the time we arrive, and they are painfully aware of what's going on and have very little say in the matter. Then comes this shaman from another world, another time, whose memories chronicle the shattering of Draenor and their failure to save the planet from desolation. This shaman is, by the way, used to handling big situations and big spells. It only makes sense that they shove as much power through Thrall as they can, when they can, although Draenor spirit magic is a different kind of bike for Thrall, so he needs to adapt. And he used earthquakes back in the days when he destroyed Durnholme, so his current spells are no big deal. He could have closed the pass no problem, but I can see that Blizz didn't want Thrall to roflstomp all problems, and they wanted that massacre to happen. Which I completely agree with.

Khorothis I'd be surprised if Thrall keeps appearing trough the expansion. He is just too powerfull, and worse, too willing to solve problems, that Blizzard needs to keep him at bay. I mean, there's a reason we haven't seen Malfurion take a big part on the history, because he could ROFLSTOMP 90% of the problems SOLO,

Well that's a bit of a stretch there with Furion, but I see what I mean. I wish I were in a position to tell you that everything's gonna be fine, but I can't. All I can say is that there's a lot of room for Thrall to appear justifiably, but just as much to attention-hog everything, like in Cataclysm. We'll just have to wait and see.

You have to remember that not only does Thrall have all that shamanistic power, but he also took Deathwing's place as the Earthwarder. Thrall essentially has all the powers of a dragon aspect.

Max Terry No he isn't the earth warden... people keep repeating this. It has been stated a lot of times that him taking the earth wardenspot was a one-time thing. Also, the aspects lost his powers...

That wasn't on Draenor/Outland. It was being summoned there from somewhere else. The remains of the Sethekk tribe of Arrakoa were summoning it. After Draenor exploded, Spies of Arak, Rukmar, the blood pools that cursed the Arakkoa, all ceased to exist. The Old Horde basically had them surrounded, and they had turned to worship of Old Gods out of desperation. Gul'dan destroyed them. What you saw on Outland was the spirits of those dead Arakkoa trying to summon that Old God there from somewhere else. According to several characters affiliated with the Old Gods, the ones on Azeroth are not the only ones, and they are spread throughout the universe.

Eskander Zakarias It's not a long shot to imagine that a lot of planets in the universe have old gods that once ruled over them. Since they are bound to the world, it is not without reason that there "is" a old God on Draenor that was destroyed when the world was destroyed.

Really!? Holy shit, the plotholes. God forbid Blizzard use reasoning when talking about lore. I hate this expansion. Blizzard has become so sloppy with their lore, this expansion is an insult to the established storyline of the franchise.You are completely right Aktanaly Joodatov .

Trevor E. It is not so much that Blizzard got sloppy with the lore it is they went J. J. Abrams _Star Trek_ route and did an insanely crappy job of explaining just what was going on and didn't follow on what *should* have happened with so many people coming through the portal.

Simply put, yes. In Ga'nar's defense, he didn't know that they were until after they were dead. They also would have killed him if he didn't do it first. Hell, they probably didn't even know he was their uncle. Another thing to add, when someone betrays their family, they are no longer family.

Actually that is very true. I mean, if you think about it - Draenor is supposed to be MASSIVE and since Orgrim is living far, far away they propably haven't seen each other in a very long time.

Rogues are known for assassination, scouting, and the use of poison, it's possible they chose to be called the Shattered Hand as an homage to the original groups style of combat - assassination and torture - if they did practice those methods in our timeline

The original Shattered Hand first appeared in Warcraft 2 and they were closer to the mutilation obsessed villains in WoD

I'd imagine a lot of it is because of the internment camps, which kind of stripped clan identity away from the orcs. Once Thrall made a new Horde, the clans weren't very distinct anymore. The Shattered Hand had probably lost a lot of their culture after ~20 years sitting in lethargy.

You don't have to drink the demon blood, or use fel magic, to turn green. They were around orcish warlocks who used fel magic, and that exposure turned them green, eventually.
