Exactly..I was always amazed by him.. First he was sparring with Sanemi..God knows what he was doing before that Then he killed a lot of demons Then he fought Akaza Then he fought Muzan with a freakin broken sword while freakin saving Tanjiro Then he survived the collapse of infinity castle Then he fought Muzan till morning Then he fought DKT for a bit with one hand 😵😵 God I love him soo much

Just because he didn't survive through the selection in a proper way it doesn't mean he is fake. If he was fake then he would be continuing as a demon slayer not a hashira. He became a hashira because he trained hard for that, and yes he never expected to be as good as sabito. But he was not fake.

I heard he did that because when giyu was in a coma after the final battle his haori was damaged and ripped a lot. While he was in a coma nezuko mended it for him and called him out everyday to wake up. And after he did wake up he saw his haori fixed and gave nice kimonos and other gifts as a thank you to the point where zenitsu started considering the giyu was an enemy

Sabito was the reason Giyuu is alive. Sabito was speedrunning the Final Selection and solo'ing every demon, but later died from the Hand Demon. He was the reason he is a Hashira. He also said in the manga that he didn't want to become a Hashira and wanted Sabito to become one instead of him.

Tomioka is the second hashira that had suffering as he witnessed his loved ones get killed brutally in front of him, lost the ability to show emotions and doesn't know how to smile or what it is 😔 Though tomioka is extremely strong as he was able to pull through and become the third strongest hashira right after sanemi

With all of the comments of “wdym he’s fake” and all of that, for clarification I thought was obvious, he means he never truly cleared final selection and Giyu himself knows if sabito didn’t die he would’ve been the water hashira. However, since both of them knew water breathing Giyu became the hashira instead. Even if he’s one of the best hashira now that wasn’t the point of the video. The sky was full of clouds and yes, clouds can stop sunlight enough for demons to not burn and Giyuu himself said it in the first ep. "Maybe it's because there are clouds now but don't let your sister walk in the sun." Giyu literally seen nezuko as a demon but decided to not kill nezuko (only hurting but not killing nezuko when he stabbed her.) any other demon slayer would have killed nezuko on sight. If giyu had killed nezuko, demon slayer wouldn’t be demon slayer with nezuko 😮‍💨

Tbh, Giyu isn’t wrong neither is he right, it sabito survived he would have easily become a hashira but Giyu as a hashira was able to beat half of the hashira’s and was very powerful and he also grew a mark.

@@x2-lxrd222 he actually did since he survived..he thinks he hasn't passed because he was saved by Sabito & basically did nothing (which doesnt mean anything)..so as per the demon slayers rules he is 100% demon slayer & a hashira..thus he would have been fired or comitted seppuku Rest u will understand when u will read the manga buddy..🌱🌱😇😇

@@x2-lxrd222 he did. Passing the final selection dosent mean just killing demons but also surviving and he did survive and later on went on becoming worthy for the title of hashira

I think this comment shows just how much you dont know ab Giyuu Giyuu thinks of himself as unworthy of the hashira title This is bc of Sabito dying even though Sabito was much more talented and stronger than Giyuu so Giyuu believes that Sabito should've had the water hashira title This guy isnt calling Giyuu a fake hashira, Giyuu himself thinks of himself as unworthy, in other words he thinks of himself as a "fake hashira"

Imagine if sabito lived... I remember a handful of reactors were saying sabito probably sucked during the final selection so that's why he died. Me as manga reader: 😩 They also missed the pattern on sabito and giyu's clothing. 😅
