Avery, I just had to stop the video and cry! I'm someone who's learning that being ace and pansexual himself is okay. So many ppl force this idea that I need to do certain things in order to love properly, but it's so so SO important that we value other forms of love like the power of handholding. I force myself to be someone I'm not in order to find love, but there's nothing wrong with who I am and how I personally want to love. Ugh amazing video. Lemme finish it 😂❤

Currently I’m going through the same things; like 80% of the time I feel like a fraud as some people say that I “can’t be both asexual and pansexual at the same time.” Reading this actually lifted my spirits, and for that I thank you 😊❤ (P.S. Honestly when I first saw the Vampire map, I cried. It was absolutely beautiful and made me feel so happy. While I'm luckily to have a supportive family, I dealt with a lot of internalized homophobia when i was younger and felt that being attracted to women was wrong and I'm luckily at a point where I'm feeling more comfortable with myself and seeing representation of sapphic romance that isnt sexualized is such a huge relief. In general, I'm very thankful for the representation that Just Dance is giving us - all of it feels very natural and beautiful and just aaaa it makes me so happy.

i’ve only just gotten into the game, because of your content actually! i’m also not straight and have been with my wonderful girlfriend for 5 years, also been a dancer my whole life, i’ve only just seen this footage of the map in your video for the first time and i’m in a puddle of my own tears 😭 it really hit home when you said about representation of women together not in a “sexy” fetishised way and this is SO POIGNANT for this dance/performing arts industry also i feel like. when i was training in classes as a kid-teen it was always men and women together, i never saw anything like this so now as an adult to see this stuff it makes me feel very warm and younger queer me feels very validated 🥰💖

oh my god im pretty sure Ari is one of the coaches in oath. Also i kinda wanna say that the coach from smalltown boy was the boyfriend of Grace who ran away from Prom, and we see him running away in that map. Extensively i belive that it is actually Scotty! first of all he also has pink hair but even more importantly: His map "Sunroof" came from the 'Summer beaches and vampires' season and who is that song about again? Thats right, a VAMPIRE!!

@@galiamorales6105 if i remember correctly scotty is supposed to have some kind of repressed trauma that caused his nightmare in cradles. If he really is the son of Dahlia like i heard, then Dahlias story of moving and getting a new life to get away from a bad guy would totally explain where that came from, and maybe even explain where scotty picted up his playboy-ish tendencies. dunno if sunroof is him before running away or not but i presume its befpre since scotty looks younger (junior high age) than smalltown boy. So maybe something happened becouse of that trauma at the prom, he literally flees town after so it must have been crazy. One point to argue against it being scotty is that he wasnt a silliouhette in Thank u next but i say thats because of how Grace would never want to thank him like the other Boyfriends we see hinted at.

first of all, i just came to terms with the fact that i am indeed pansexual like...last week. so, this made me wanna cry lowkey. thanks for that. getting to the lore, i feel like it might make sense for it to be good 4 u, vampire, thank u next. cuz after they got together in vampire, maybe she means "thank u next" to the boys she used to date BEFORE ari? cuz there is a lyric in the song that says "they say i move on too fast, but this one gon last...cuz her name is Ari and I'm so good with that." so even if they are going thru a rough patch, they will probably stay together and work things out. i think "thank u next" is towards her other exes, but Ari must be her actual true love. going to different colleges would totally make sense too. anyway, loving lore week, babes. can't wait to see the Clementine lore.

i haven't been to school in 20 years but i can imagine coming out as a queer couple (and especially as the prom queen and the rebel in the last year of school) didn't go over well with their other classmates and i could totally see this being their rough patch. trying to navigate their own feelings and the potentially not so nice comments from everyone else at that age could easily have them wondering if this is all worth it (i know i had those thoughts) seeing as they had already drifted apart before and found each other again, even as friends, shows that they care about each other a lot, so i'm speaking it into existence now: they will get through this together (or else!)

Thank you for making this Avery. Even though I knew you were pan from a friend telling me before I got properly into Just Dance and I’ve never really seen you as a queer icon but after this and seeing you be so passionate about everything wrong with the political state of how LGBT people (such as me and you) are being treated, I see you as a queer icon now. I think that even though vampire happened BEFORE thank u next, they’re still going to stay together because Grace would have taken the pictures down and the song talks about being a lot better off with “ari” than her other boyfriends. So I think that Ari is mad with Grace during thank u next but Grace wants to apologise and still loves her,but she’s playing it off because she doesn’t want to lose her popularity.

When I look at the Cannon order of the songs, I think Thank you next is referring to Grace’s ex’s rather than talking about Ari. (Other than the Ari line) so I don’t think the two of them broke up, it’s Grace reflecting on her ex’s and seeing how she’s doing better now that she’s with Ari

My take on it is that they were friends but turned lovers at some point (mainly cause they look comfortable like they have known each other for a while). Also I love a good friends-to-lovers trope Edit: I didn't watch the summary, I'm just glad that I was on the money, even if it doesn't last

Okay so hear me out." thank you, next" can very well be relating to Grace's ex breaking up with her and her finally having someone that appreciates her hence the "Im so f*ing greatful for my ex" in " thank you, next" could be interpreted as her being thankful he broke up with her, and now shes with Ari?? That was what i figured based on Aurore's description, and vampire talking about someone "bleeding her dry" anyways, I might've gone too deep into theorizing, but here is what i had in mind

I’m so used to seeing heterosexual/heteroromantic relationships in Just Dance, but never any clear LGBTQIA+ relationships. So I was so so happy to see these two confirmed! I literally stood there with my mouth open in shock when they did the heart arms gold move. I hope Ari and Grace’s relationship works out, but, like you, I get it if they don’t because high school relationships often don’t last.

Thank you for saying that about queer rep. I know for me it's always amazing to find it. It's like the writers (Aurore in this case) are telling me, "You belong in this space/this fandom/this world I created" without saying it outright, and I think that's beautiful! ❤️ 🏳️‍🌈 About the story itself, though: I'm honestly not too worried about their relationship right now. It seems like they've hit a "rough patch" before - back in middle school when they lost contact - and they were able to reconnect then, so I don't see why they can't again!
