Hello my lovely people out there! Finally after years I finished a video!
But this is not just "a video" this is a Korrasami video for the lovely Ari. (Here her Tumblr acc. walkingnorth.tumblr.com ; check it out her art is one of the best things I ever saw!)
She and I we did a trade, I did this video for and she drew me these beautiful pictures!

Thank you so much for doing this trade with me! I had a lot of fun with this video (even if it costs all my nervous...) and I finally found my inspiration back to edit! :)
And Ari you are right this is really well a Korrasami song! (but sadly I have enough of this song after hearing it over and over and over and over again.... it was still fun to work on this tho)

Korra and Asami perfectly complement one another, their opposite personalities and abilities perfectly complement one another, this can be seen even in Book 1 and 2, even before Bryke made the final decision that Korrasami will become endgame. One can even say that this happened quite ... accidentally. ;) Korra is a very powerful bender, Avatar, master of all four elements and spiritual, Asami is a very skilled non-bender, a genius with exceptional knowledge and skills regarding technology and science, and not spiritual. Korra symbolizes the tradition, culture and spiritualism, while Asami symbolizes development, technology and science. Korra is physically and spiritually strong, Asami is emotionally and intellectually strong. When they fight together, they are in perfect sync. They are always listening to advice from one another, the plans they had, and never led decisions of each other in question. They are always ready to comfort each other when one of them feels unhappy and injured. They will always be next to each other and follow each other till the end. Korra and Asami love each other unconditionally. They deserve to be together. Korra likes to wear blue/white, Asami likes to wear red/black. They make a perfect Balance.

Extreme Madness *Terrific* comment, mate! :))) I'd just like to add one more detail - Asami's femininity serves as a foil to Korra's somewhat tomboyish, aggressive tendencies. Regardless of this, though, the two seem to convey a balance of traits - just as Asami is seen being bold and adept at combat, Korra is likewise shown to have a softer, more feminine side with a curiosity toward make-up and romance. Also, Asami is a useful ally to Korra, since she is shown to be more stoic and prefers to think before acting! :)))

Well, yeah, definitely, as I already said, their opposite personalities complement each other perfectly. And I agree, their traits are not exclusive, Asami is definitely good and relentless fighter just like Korra, and Korra often shows that she also has softer, feminine and romantic side.

when I first watched the series, I was disappointed that they weren't more open about the relationship between Korra and Asami. But after thinking about it a while, I came to the realization that Asami's and Korra's relationship is very true to how people who are attracted to someone of the same sex come to the realization that they are attracted to the same sex. Most people develop feelings for someone of the same sex and do not reliaze that they are romantic feelings until much later. Female friends are typically more affectionate toward each other without it being romantic or sexual (i.e. holding hands, hugging, kissing on the cheek) But that does not mean that female friends can't grow to have romantic feelings for each other. Most people who are bisexual or gay discover that they are bisexual or gay because they develop feelings for someone close that them and then realizing that those feelings are romantic feelings. So Korra's and Asami's relationship is very realistic of real life couples who start out as friends but then become a couple. Of course, if you are not someone who has experienced attraction for someone of the same sex or you do not believe that people of the same sex can grow to have romantic feelings for each other then you are probably going to be surprised when Asami and Korra become a couple.

this made me cry. This is exactly how i realized i'm bisexual. But i couldn't tell my friend that my feelings are romantic way. She doesn't approve this. For not suffering anymore, i blocked her. But this doesn't work. I still miss her. But i know i can't go back.

I believe Asami Liked Korra from the beginning from when she was giving her looks in the pool. There was always a sexual tension there. I believe she realised she was jealous that Korra likes Mako than Mako liking Korra. Remember when she says “I like Korra.” At the time we believed it was friendship but st the start of season 3 she let Korra drive and they shared a romantic moment. Because of the Avatars duties I believe if they had had more time together to begin with their feelings would have been realised both sides much sooner. But there has always been an attraction from the beginning I think

Been waiting for someone to do a tribute video on their whole relationship and such a great song choice! You know as a yuri fan I was blown away when the finale aired and was even more blown away when the creators confirmed the relationship was not only romantic but also canon, although if you know how to read subtext it was very obvious something was going on starting in Book 3 and then several parts in Book 4 leading up to the finale. Seeing the reactions from the fans and the world just shows how special it was and the creators hit the grandslam with this. Unlike most relationships in TV series Korra and Asami's relationship was done the right way, they started off as really just acquaintances to allies to best friends who fell in love and unlike most people think it didn't come out of nowhere it you paid attention, it was a relationship that took its time and grew over years which is how romance should develop, that way it can be a real and healthy love. Can't wait for the Korra comics which will hopefully take place after the series and maybe just maybe they will decide to make an animated film cause after what they accomplished someone will approach them with the proposal of doing a film hopefully. It is not every day yuri makes history, but I'm just glad I was able to witness it. Long Live Korrasami.

Yes! Yes! YEEEES! I totally agree with you! :) Their relationship is really great, I love how it developed over the years! They couldn't have done it more obvious because some parents would have gone crazy if they did it more obvious like some other paarings! sadly...However it is still a beautiful healthy relationship which I totally adore. *Wow*.. This was by far one of the sweetest Korrasami tributes that I have *ever* seen... GREAT job! :))) Hehe, I suppose that the Avatar will always *get the girl* in the end, regardless of his/her gender? It appears that Roku was right after all - being the Avatar doesn't hurt your chances with *_the ladies_*! :))) LOL Considering how well they knew, trusted, and cared about each other, and the fact that their relationship gradually developed over the course of 4 years (unlike Makorra, which came out of nowhere, with very little development!), I'm sure that Korrasami will be a *terrific* couple... Heck, they knew each other well enough to acknowledge their reciprocated feelings to each other through one tender glance, without uttering a single word :))) ♥ ♥ ♥ Hehe, we can *definitely* look forward to TLOK comics now! :P Being bisexual myself, I will admit that making Korrasami happen was by far the best Christmas present I could have ever hoped for... I simply cannot say enough good things about that final scene! :))) Oh, and hopefully, Zuko, Katara, and Toph will finally reunite at Korra and Asami's wedding! :))

alot of people rather Mako and Korra and it's because the hetero pairing is all the know,whilst growing up watching cartoons and such a hetero relationship is all they saw and characters they supported getting together but Mako and Korra would never have worked out even if there was no Asami,Mako is a guy who is strong but he could never dominate Korra,they couldn't even get along for 5munites,Asami on the other hand could emotionally dominate Korra and that's where Mako fell short,Korra is fierse but emotionally she is abit of a softy.Asami could easily talk to Korra and easily knew how to please her for example,the car race back at the mansion and teaching Korra to drive,preparing an airship and going with Korra to find and rescue airbenders,watching her body as she meditated,saving her from the earthqueens airship etc all the while not being a nonbender,things like that can get to the heart of someone who has alot on their shoulders to bare,Mako helped out yes but he couldn't be the emotional support Korra needed,even tensin figured out how to get to Korra,it's why she could cry infront of him and he could hug her and comfort her,as Asami said Mako is not the best intouch with his emotions guy and Korra needed that the most which gave her more encouragement to fight.Asami is at Korra's level,Asami is similar to Kuvira but without being crazy and a bender,Korra even said that she and kuvira were similar,Asami is able to make Korra feel dominant yet be as soft hearted at the same time and inturn Asami is dominant over Korra because Korra feels comfortable enough to be weak,scared,doubtful and emotional around Asami,as she was with Tensin.

OMG, das ist so schön. °^° Nach der 2. Staffel dachte ich mir so aus Spaß ; " Jetzt hatten wir Asami und Mako, danach Korra und Mako. Jetzt kommen Asami und Korra zusammen. " Und OMG es ist passiert. Ich habe ohnehin die letzten beiden Staffeln durchgeheult und dann kam DIESE eine Szene.

Do you know if there is something planned for Korra? If I'm not mistaken most of the public reproached the end with korrasami (unfortunately) and some people really came to do comments extremely rude about that. Sorry english not is my native language
