How can anybody down vote these? Lifeway makes awesome products, and I just downed some Lowfat plain with Red Mills granola (another great company). I'm proud to support a responsible company from my state. :)

The company has a class-action lawsuit filed against it over false advertising claims. Stop believing the label blindly.

I buy it from Mercado El Roble in BC. Check FB marketplaces, there might be somebody selling Kefir grains. If so you can make your own.

Lol of course it is, but its still lame to buy lifeway if you want good kefir. Make your own with raw milk and good kefir grains and you'll have 50+ cultures, and all the benefits of raw milk.

@@Sunmoonstars976 making your own is great because it's so simple. it's a perenial harvest with 1 minute of work. Just strain it in the morning, start new batch, and repeat the next day lol. If you get tired of drinking it daily save it up for cpl days and then strain it in a cheese cloth and press it for a cross between sour cream and feta cheese. There is allot you can do. Enjoy

OMG is that your family? How can you call Kefir "Keefer" (pronouncing it like reefer) if your family is from Russia? What an embarrassment,...the way you pronounce Kefir is cringeworthy! How can Michael's children Julie and Eddie allow you to mutilate the name of a product that is such 🤮 a source of pride to not only their family, but their country? It is just as ridiculous as calling guacamole...goo-a-samoli.
