Melese was born into poverty in southern Ethiopia. From birth he has not had proper function of his legs and most of his life, he didn't have the equipment necessary to function in society. After finding a hospital that would provide him equipment Melese developed a passion and skill for fixing and creating hospital equipment that helped those with disabilities. In October of 2023, we joined Melese to provide over 200+ wheelchairs to others in his home country while also hearing a little bit about his story.
