I didn't know much about the Locust in general... I feel kinda sad for them now... They just wanted to survive, and were too scared of Humanity to make a deal with them. Humans and Locust can use each other's weaponry and other equipment, and if they had teamed up an absolutely RIDICULOUS number of lives could've been saved. On BOTH SIDES.

I actually thought Ruth was one of the first berserkers since in the lab document you find he describes her eyes having strange discoloration, erratic and unpredictable behavior, and a labored breathing. Just like the berserkers do. Her hair grows slow, which in time if it didnt grow back as fast as you shed hair, then she would be bald, and the extreme swelling in her joints might be the armor plate that the berserker has and maybe the size difference too. Just my thoughts when I found that document. I think Myrrah is the scientist, Niles, daughter. She even has the same accent as him and talks about how they were driven to the mountains because they, the humans, didnt want to take responsibility to her people, which Niles always called them "children" so they share a close connection to them.

Interesting... I was under the impression that the Locust did not exist until the Imulsion exposed miners were experimented on and allowed to mutate into the Sires, who then further mutated into the Locust we know today. That would further explain Myrrah's origin. She could have been one of the children, or potentially even a researcher at the facility. Either would explain why she cared for the Locust so much, and how she came to be with them. Personally, I think she's slightly more likely to be a researcher who came to care for the Sires and took some of them away from the facility to start a new life underground. This would also help explain the fact that she was not tainted by Imlusion. Interesting video, though. Oh, and it's pronounced "Meera".

Using the light mass Bomb didn’t make it “react faster” what happend was the heat from the bomb vaporized the Imulsion thus making it airborne that is what caused rustlung in humans because before then it hadn’t hoped the species barrier like that and the former miners that where at the new hope research facility they didn’t have rustlung back then because Imulsion wasn’t being burned and the fumes set into the air. You know what causes the Imulsion to cause lambency? Because the humans started using it as a fuel source it was so clean burning and efficient that it made nuclear and fossil fuel obsolete. Imulsion is a living organism and once humans started harvesting it it responded by attacked and mutating the cell structure of whatever it came in contact with once someone is completely Lambent then the Imulsion is able to control the infected individual. So when there was a 3 way war the “general” of the Lambent was the Imulsion kind of crazy if you think about it pretty cool honestly adds many layers of lore to the story

gears is such an interesting franchise cause on the surface it looks like a fun dumb action franchise but really there are a lot of deep themes to it such as torture and sacrifice. The comics and collectables also add much more depth to the lore that make the series much more enjoyable!

I think the reason Queen myrrah didn't die from the emulsion killing machine is because she had high resistence meaning the emulsion couldn't take over her cells, Doesn't mean it wasn't still inside her and that she wasn't still exposed to it, Baird asks adam fenix if the machine would kill him since all of them have been exposed to emulsion, But since they haven't been exposed as much and the emulsion hasn't took over their cells the cells won't be destroyed, But their still exposed, You get me so far? And as for her telepathically communicating with Raam theres potential for multiple things, Raam had a bit of locust gear at the back of his head, I originally thought that was used to control the krill but maybe it serves another purpose such as being able to communicate with the queen and other locusts, Or it could be because Myrrah has emulsion in her blood that binds all of them together in a way, I ain't too sure of the last one tbh...

Wrong. Niles at the new hope research facility is the creator of the locust. Myrah is a descendant of the new hope research team. Thats why Niles and Myreah refer to the locust as their children

So basically everything the Serans try to do to deal with one problem causes another? Finding Imulsion caused the Pendulum Wars and all of that crazy shit, and lead to the Hammer of Dawn. The Hammer of Dawn lead to Sera getting blasted to asset deny the Locusts. The Lightmass bomb accelerated the creation of the Imulsion into the Lambent and also woke up a riftworm. Sinking Jacinto just caused Imulsion to go everywhere else and cost the COG their capital city. Using the Imulsion Countermeasure just made the Locusts turn into Swarm and also probably triggered Windflares. Seriously, this planet is a total crapsack.

Here's the thing I don't get, Ruth would have been 90 years old at the start of the Locust war. Myrrah looks as if she is 50 years old. The New Hope facility closed down before the start of the Pendulum Wars.

If you remember Myrah said he gave Adam Fenix 20 years to deal with lambets so it means before E-day.They knew about the Locusts way before the war and they started testing on humans with Locusts and Lambnets DNA but they turned into Sires

Hold the phone. Did I hear you right? Did say that Queen Mirra considered asking the humans for help against the Lambent? So many lives would have been saved if she did. Then again knowing the COG, they'd probably make matters worse but not as bad as in the game. E Day would have happened regardless war or no war.
