Great to hear about St. Patrick as we hear about the Ends of the Earth. It's truly remarkable on how the gospel was spread across the world. And especially in Europe in Ireland. Thanks Dave Stotts for Drive Thru History still watching this show since I was young in 1997 until now.

I have been told that St. Columba was bahished to Iona by the High King of Ireland for copying a sacred manuscript but it was not all bad news for him because his Clann (family) owned the Island as they did much of Western Alban/Scotland. The High King stipulated that Columba should never walk on Irish ground again. When he felt obliged to return to Ireland to attend a funeral, perhaps, he inserted cuttings of Scottish soil into each of his sandals and thus respected the order of the High King of Ireland ie An Árd Rí.

*celtic spirituality * not "barbarism". There's about 900 baby skeletons in a septic tank in Tuam that stands testimony to the "church" that replaced peaceful worship of seasons and landscape. You should call your channel "drive through mythology" not history 😂

Patrick was baptizing converts in a river and some women came to him and asked, "Does your God have a son?" Patrick said "Yes, but the son is not younger than the father and the father is not older than the Son." He believed in the Trinity. See Romans 9:5, Jon 8:58. Columba also deserves attention for preaching justification by faith, Habakkuk 2:14, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38, Galatians 2:21, Titus 3;:5-7. .

Jesus did not say He is NOT God. Jesus said that it is fitting that He be called Teacher and LORD. John 13:19 "I tell you this now, before it takes place ....I AM." Exodus 3:14 God replied, "I am who am." ...."This is what you shall tell the Israelites, "I AM sent me to you." Peace and blessings 🙏

John 17:5 Jesus said.. Now Father glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began ... Who was with God before the world began? Only God existed, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. We are one being, one person. God is one being three persons. The Trinity first appears in Genesis 1:26. Then God said let US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness...Before creation who was the US and OUR? It the Triune God who existed from the beginning. It's also why Allah is a different God from YAHWEH.😊
