After I had watched tk proposing to Carlos I decided to rewatch the first couple episodes when they first met and started getting together, and I only just realised how much Carlos was in love with tk from the beginning
Yes the show knows about Buddie, they don't mind the shipping, they just aren't interested in taking them in this direction right now but it's a recurring conversation in the writers room so maybe one day 🤞
I did watch this. They broke up because Carlos got a place, put TK's name on the lease, and it freaked TK because it felt like things were getting way more serious

I wasn't ready for TK's voice cracking with "I can't fall in love with one more thing I know I'm gonna lose, Dad." THAT GETS ME EVERYTIME!!! MY HEART JUST BREAKS Carlos crying, BREAKS ME. Tarlos arguing BREAKS ME. I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!!!! Especially TK because he is not just a cute little baby. He's my comfort character as I can relate to him a lot. I'm only 14, but his parents always argued, mine do too. Close relationship with 1 of 2 parents. He's close with his Dad not Mom, meanwhile I'm close with my Mom and not so much my Dad. He always tried to distract himself from the arguing, but it never worked, same with me. I have developed anxiety becuase of it. Anyone starts arguing, the minute I hear it, I spiral. Can't breathe at all. But my dogs ran to my room and sat on my lap. They knew I was panicking and needed comfort, but they were panicking too. They wanted comfort as well. Within a minute, I was able to breathe, becuase my dogs kept nudging and licking and sitting on me until I hugged them. There are other reasons as well, but I'll spare you them. I relate to TK a lot, much more than I should. There are some times where I just wish he was real, so I could tell him thanks for making me feel less alone. For being the only person who I feel TRULY understands me. But, you know, he's not, so.........

His parents were always arguing when he grew up and unfortunately I have the same. I was abused by my dad in the past, and I'm not very close with him...meanwhile I'm really close with my mom. Just like TK is really close with his Dad. I remember the scene really well at the start of s1 ep9 where young TK is trying to distract himself while his parents argue. I try so hard to do the same but it never works. I think I've gotten anxiety from the arguing because arguing can trigger it according to google. TK actually feels like the only person who TRULY understands me. Like I'm not alone anymore. There's some made up character out there who understands me! I'm only 14 and I have to deal with the arguing a lot and it causes me to cry, hyperventilate, panic, try to distract myself but nothing ever works! I go numb I can't breathe....I just want it to stop! But thanks to you I feel so much better. You make me feel less alone. Like there's always someone there for me when I'm at my wits end. I love both 9-1-1 and Lone Star but i have to admit, LS has been the best out of both shows. The acting is amazing, the actors are incredible, the twists and turns in this show, HOLY SHIT. I love that the show has actors who are actually part of the LGBTQI+. They're really good at showing gay representation on this show. I have heard that Ryan Murphy, one of the creators of the show, has a really bad track record when it comes to gay representation, so he better not screw this couple up or the storylines.
You prefer L.S because of the gay representation ? I can understand but I agree to disagree. 9.1.1 is also amazing, the acting is fantastic, the cast are incredible. For me me the twists and turns are better than LS.
@@sailormoony469 Actually, I don't prefer it because of the gay representation at all. Yes, the show is doing amazing with showing gay representation but IMO, i like LS better. LS has better storylines and i love 9-1-1 aswell but LS has really stepped it up in season 2 and by the look of it, season 3 is probably going to be even better.

everytime i watch it i can only think about how much impressed i am with raphael (the actor who play carlos)... i mean, he is brazilian and he is from the same state that i am (minas gerais)... 🥺 and he got this big role and did a incredible work 😭
Their storyline is so well written. Thankfully reflective of life for many in LGBTQ communities ... at least in large cities. Beautiful men who are clearly not uncomfortable being their characters ... because they are not straight men playing gay roles.
Communication is always the most important with loving each other. But Carlos must have had balls to tell the truth to his father. After all he is gay and the parents' knew it. He missed there a lot. I would have reacted as TK did. Even though I love them so much, Carlos must have his oneself and be more independent. 🥰🥰🥰🥰💋💋💋💋😘😘😍😍🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
What if y’all give Carlos a backstory like he got into a lot of trouble when he kept a secret about him being gay in it like when he finally told his parents that he was gay it’s because he got arrested or beaten up because he wanted to to feel something and that’s why he actually told his parents the truth.. like interesting or just giving Carlos like an episode of his backstory like he got in trouble when he was 17 in high school .
can we talk about at the end of episode 2 season 1 when tk talk to Carlos when he is trying to take a side of whatever that is and his face drains from happy to depress
