Naxx was and still is my favorite part of WoW for that very reason. It has that very creepy ambiance to it and the backstory is utterly horrifying

BettyBoo42 I concur! I don't know much about the Naxx lore, but what I do know actually terrifies me. If they ever put Naxx in a Warcraft movie, guuurl that's going to be scary!

Prince Stormstrider I'm just waiting for the Ebon Blade to be retaken completely by the Lich King or something. He has to have ulterior motives.

The Lich King's motives for now is to keep the Legion off his back. Kil'jaeden created the Lich King to weaken Azeroth and now the Lich King is on his hit list together with Velen and Illidan. The Scourge is Bolvar's weapon and the Ebon Blade is his ally. We're not sure if he has ulterior motives. Darion Mograine says the death knights hold no chains to the new Lich King. Arthas' ghost claims their will is not their own, but we're not sure if he is referring to Bolvar or if it's a fourth wall joke. For now, Bolvar's goal is to fight the Legion, but when the Legion is defeated anything can happen. Bolvar became the Lich King to keep the Scourge in check, but Ner'zhul could still claim dominion and use the Scourge for evil again. But I'd rather see the Azshara/ N'zoth expansion before returning to Northrend. It's about time the South Seas made it to the game.

I have to agree that the old Scourge did far more damage than Bolvar's, but we have to keep in mind that Bolvar is there to keep them from happening again. As Uther said, if left unchecked, the Scourge will destroy all of Azeroth. There is a possibility that Bolvar is using the Ebon Blade to fend off the Legion, while he prepares something evil. Perhaps creating new armies in Northrend? Arming Icecrown Citadel and Naxxramas? Perhaps. Perhaps not. For now he remains atop the Frozen Throne. Another point that I would like to make is the DK order hall campaign as a whole. 1) Making the New Horsemen 2) Raising the Storm Dragons 3) SPOILERS FOR 7.2 MOUNT : Leading the Red Dragonflight to extinction. It seems as if Bolvar is making ready for a return. I have to admit The Lich King storyline might be one of the best, but seriously, it's time to see Azshara and N'zoth as villians.

It's no wonder the Forsaken are super pissed off all the time.

The mogu match that evil in the lore, but they're dampened too much by being cartoonish evil Disney villain type overlords at the same time.

Lichtenstein is a real world country, castle, palace, city and a house(as in dynasty not architecture) most of which are somewhere in Austria. The house of Lichtenstein also owned several castles/palaces in Moravia(part of Czech Republic), also on a sidenote there is no record of any Victor in the main bloodline of House of Lichtenstein... Elizabeth Bathory (Hungarian/Slovak noblewoman), from a nearby area is the Guiness world record female mass murderer, from 16th century, with estimated number of victims being above 650 and said to have been bathing in the blood of young women among other things.(not sure why i brought this up...) I know you are refering to Kel'Thuzad btw.

Not really. Karazhan had its share of atmospheric and scary places, a lot of Northrend did, especially the Citadel, the Bastion of Twilight and End Time, some places associated with the Mogu, especially some parts of the Throne of Thunder, some parts of the Dread Wastes kinda, Draenor... didn't have any, but then we have the Emerald Nightmare and Argus. New stuff can be good, too. Although I do admit that the Plaguelands, Scholomance, Stratholme and Naxxramas, really anything associated with the Cult of the Damned, has a kind of flair that's hard to match.

And maybe from Lordaeron too.

That's just a Naaru quality in general. I don't know, if it has been confirmed, but it has been speculated for long, that the crystal is a piece of a Naaru or atleast closely related to them. It could both be K'ure, K'ara or just any old Naaru the orcs got their hands on.
