The Story of the Clock Tower 

Torquay Museum Society, in association with John Tomkins of Emberlense Productions, have produced a brief and insightful short film about the ‘Mallock Memorial Tower’, known locally to people in Torbay and visitors alike as simply ‘The Clock Tower’.
It has constantly dominated the corner of the Strand where it has been sited since 1902 but few people ponder its local historical importance, or who commissioned and designed it, and most importantly the person it is dedicated too. Take a few minutes to explore the answers to these questions and more.
