Hey Nobbel, just wanted to clarify the whisper about Ysera: The whisper says "vassal of life" not "vessel", a vassal is feudal title for a land holder who serves a lord, so basically it means a "high ranking servant of life" in this phrase.
What do you think about the Risen and Dreadlord abilities in general given the implication that they are servants of death. I always thought that demons using such advanced necromancy was out of place lore wise.
@@Nobbel87 Not only that, but "eyes of green" while everyone seems to focus it on eye color can also mean "envy", so the phrase could be referring to a high ranking servant of life with envy over someone/thing.
3:00 "A whole part of the zone is being scorched by the Light, driving the Venthyr insane. With quest dialogue suggesting, that the Light is doing this out of retribution for something the Venthyr did." N'zoth in Crucible of Storms: The Light, has struck a bargain with the "Enemy of All." Perhaps one side didn't fulfill their end of the bargain? Perhaps Denathrius the Venthyr allied with the Jailer, who is our current "enemy," were the ones to broker the bargain, and then they went back on their part of the deal. Thus the Light attacks the Shadowlands. Or the writers of the plans mentioned in "Enemy Infiltration" framed the Venthyr. Much to ponder.
The existence of a Lightforged Demon in Lothraxion makes clear even the dreadlords (Of whom we believe Denathrius to be the progenitor) can take the Light onto their side. We haven't seen Lothraxion since Legion, but I'm curious how that might play into things. We have a soldier of the Light, after all...
The Light struck a bargain with Denathrius. He is the "enemy of all" according to Enemy Infiltration: Preface. The Light is the ancient ally helping Zovaal.
Hey Nobbs, I stumbled on one of your old Q&As and while watching it I was like, damn, I miss these things man(I know there’s Twitch and all but still..) Also it was mindblowing to hear young nobbel again, I kind of miss him, although I can’t deny that your narrating voice has drastically improved over time and I absolutely love it... it’s just that, young nobbel was the guy who made me want to play wow, you gave me a taste for the lore and for that I’ ll never forget you, you’re the only youtuber whose videos I’ve kept watching throughout the years. I love you man
Which doesn't really help them, since they know all paths to be possible truths. The void seems to know so much, but they fail to recognize the threat to their own domain in their own whispers. My favorite whisper in this context "Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others." - I'm pretty sure the Void Lords believe their own realm will be the "one". It's hilarious and terrifying at the same time, thinking even the omniscient Void is being played by the realm of Death and by the Nathrezim.
The only thing about Il’gynoth whispers that have always been iffy now is that in Ny’lotha Magni directly tell us after we kill him to ignore his whispers because he was just trying to drive us against one another. This was prolly Blizzard’s way of saying his whispers don’t really matter and we’re most likely not true.
@@Veldryn. But the Emerald Nightmare kinda shows that the Voidlords have a plan that might involve the Shadowlands. Seeing that corrupted part at the end when the Dream became normal again and the fact that the Dream might be linked to ardenweald.
Healthymento Void Gods are the result of a Naaru losing their Light and becoming Void Beings, like M’uru becoming Entropius in Sunwell Plateau and Saa’ra becoming Saraka in Netherlight Temple, Dimensius was a fragment of a Void Lord that made its way into the physical universe.
@@Crownsnek The Six Mouths hunger for total cosmic control. And I'm here to bring out that fucking equality bat!!!! >:( THE FIRST ONES DIDN'T SHAPE EVERYTHING JUST SO THIS COULD HAPPEN! BACK, HEATHENS!
of all the loretubers, your videos are always the best and most rational, because you don't get carried away on personal speculation but instead really pull out logical links keep up good job mate
And he never says: I knew it, I told you, i’ve predicted this ten years ago, I was right when everyone was wrong, once again my speculation and lore skills are blah blah, you get the point, his videos are always as if he is reading from the official lore book, always telling the facts
Basically before now Books about universe were written by Titans view point , there was that dreadlrods were originally Demons so were pitlords, BUT that's titans point of view :)
@Wonder of U You've got to stop mistaking "dreadlord" for "Nathrezim" ...it is not the same thing. Just as "Nazi" and "human" are not the same thing. If you found a Nazi, they were human...but if you found a human, they were mostly not Nazis. Same with the Nathrezim, only the very few Nathrezim who pledged service to Sargeras were called dreadlords. We were told in books outside the game, as well as in books inside the game. In fact, there were different versions of what we were told... before Burning Crusade and after Burning Crusade. Before it, they implied in the mentions that the Nathrezim tormented Sargeras by constantly causing mischief in the universe and re-appearing somewhere else after they were defeated to cause mischief again...which eventually made Sargeras think there was something wrong with the entire Titan plan for Order; and then he created the Burning Legion. Then when Metzen wrote content for Burning Crusade...he slightly retconned things and reversed his earlier idea....this time saying that Sargeras kept imprisoning captured Nathrezim individuals who were causing mischief and after having doubts about the plan for Order...based on witnessing void corruption, he interrogated those captured Nathrezim about what this void was...and after hearing their answer, offered to release them from imprisonment if they pledged loyalty to his new idea for a Burning Crusade. Very subtle difference between the two accounts...which shifts how and when the crusade began. Now this letter leak is shifting it back towards Metzen's original focus instead of his retcon.
is it possible that the name "nathrezim" is not their race name but actually the name of one of venthry's army that specializes in infiltratrion? "the Nathrezim division" balnazzar said "my kind are called nathrezim" , or maybe because nathrezim is a child/fusion of venthyr and gargoyles/ . this is interesting
@@Cakalank Technically no. Because the conspirators that are working with Sire Denathrius refer to themselves as "thal'kituun" in their own language...which is just a euphemism that translates to "the unseen guests" . Whereas nathrezim pledged to the Holy Light call themselves nathrezim. And nathrezim pledged to the legion call themselves nathrezim...with the term dread lord being a description of their specific job title within the legion. And nathrezim refer to their home planet as Nathreza. Unless the writers retcon things in shadowlands and we haven't discovered it yet.... the nathrezim did not originate from the shadowlands let alone Revendreth. They had a planet in normal reality called Nathreza. After which they had varying loyalties and conspiracies.
With all this new war amongst the Cosmic forces, I couldn't help but think. Imagine Sargeras, cleansed of his corruption, returned to his original form, standing with his siblings against the other cosmic forces.
Hmm, in Chronicles, there is a name of Nathrezim homeworld - Nathreza. In the fight with Portal-keeper Hasabel when she opens the gate to Shadow (Nathreza) platform, she states: "Nathreza... once a world of magic and knowledge, now a twisted landscape from which none espcape." But Lord Eilgar's (dreadlord add) quotes doesn't contain anything that would expand some information on Nathreza. I just realized that the Nathreza, homeworld of Nathrezim that later joined the void - and demons, must somehow fit to it too. If nathrezim are connected to venthyr, then their homeworld must somehow fit into all of it.
The datamined book predates the formation of the Legion, which means Lothraxion would not have been able to infiltrate the light yet since he was originally a member of the Legion.
It also states in the book that they do not yet have an agent in the Light. It only says that once they do have an agent who has convinced the Naaru of his conversion, they will trust him implicitly.
@@kahmul When it talks about manipulating the Titans and fracturing the Pantheon, it is heavily implies that their intent is to get one of the Pantheon to go rogue.
Amazing video and breakdown of the lore! I just wanted to mention the War of the Amcients Trilogy here, the Dreadlords were "experimenting" with undeath. Ronin and Krasus speculated that this was the precursor of the Undead Scourge for the Legion's plans. But it was Nathrazim raising the undead in Suramar in WotA Trilogy, not Eredar. This further ties the Dreadlords to Death, and that they are agents for the the cosmic force of Death. Now that we know that the runes on Frostmourne were of the Maw/ The Jailor, and so far the lore still stands that Nathrazim created the Helm and Armor of Domination and Frostmourne. The plans run deep.
Just a thing to keep in mind, the new Il'gynoth whispers never made it in game. They are only voice files in the game data. So take them with a grain of salt. One thing I'm wondering is if the Nathrezim truly go to the nether when they die. It's possible that was a lie too because they are not actually demons, but servants of Death. If this is the case then Balnazzar may not actually be dead, and same with Varimathras.
The lore of the cosmic god wars! Please blizzard let the two windrunner sisters be relevant with sylvanas if this is the truth of how far your going with all this! Wait the winter queen has a sister?! The Venthyr being corrupted by the fel and turning into the nethoziem actually sounds interesting. It’s amazing and scary to believe we found out about all this because one person killed them self on spikes and blew a hole in the sky, damn. Also I hope illidan is aware of all this stuff by the titans by being sargeras’s jailer. I hope all these are true. Hmm six masters but serve one huh?
Well in most lore there is an equivalent to the winter queen for summer. Which is usually protrayed as the winter queens sister. If you wanna know more google Mab the winter queen or Titania the summer queen.
I was originally kind of hesitant about the Dreadlords being connected to Denathrius but the more I'm seeing and reading into it the more I like the idea. Also, the fact the Winter Queen has a sister is interesting and I wonder what her sister could be in connection with
Not sure if i missed something but.. Ever since this Book was Datamined and we are pretty sure that the Nathrezim work for the Jailor a Question i had during the Shadowlands Cinematic came back to my mind. Why exactly is the Destruction of the Helm of Domination opening a Portal to the Maw? As far as i know, the Nathrezim stole it from the Shadowlands. Has this been Part of the Plan the whole time? Was it just some sort of portal key to make a way in & maybe out of the Maw?
Still got a lot of questions to be answered concerning the Lich King’s place in all this, and tbh, with it going cosmic, we’re going to have to look at the Light even further. I also wholeheartedly expect to see the Titans brought back and more in depth, which means more Illidan. And whenever we finally face off with the Void Lords, it’ll be amazing.
Remember that Chronicle is from the perspective of the Titans and those that served them. So it's very possible that they missed something on the origin of some demons like the Nathrezim.
Cant wait to find out, the old gods were all the time in fact the good guys and wanted to teach azeroth how to see the truths they see and not to fall for the only truth of the light. But the titans thought they had bad intentions and imprisoned them. And now when nzoth was free he finally achieved their goal and let us kill him. He even said we were his chosen.
First nzoth just handed over the blade to weaken him. Then he only invaded the two places where the titan installations were to kill him in pandaria and uldum just to lead us there and during his first bossfight he "invited" us into his core. He wanted us to kill him, that he could return into the void after his mission complete.
@@ilikegaming8084 I agree with you. I mean, the whole N'zoth plot is more likely that was a bait, people believing that the Old Gods are gone Forever, but in the great scheme of things, they have already won. All the whispers are becoming real.
Lol yeah. Lets conveniently forget about the madness and the corruption. Lets forget about the genocide and the wars that those gods have inflicted on azeroth. I feel like people are forgetting about the good things that the light has accomplished and all the bad things that has been done by void and the old gods. All for the sake of this narrative that maybe the bad guy isn't really bad at all. Sure mate. Sure.
The worst thing the Light has done, at least in theory, was a singular Naaru trying to force Illidan into giving up his connection to the Fel in exchange for Lightforged powers, some "You MUST embrace the DESTINY we have for you" shit. Now, that's not to say the Light is infallible, the Scarlet Crusade's done some pretty fucked up stuff and swung the light all the same, and it's not like the Light is even focused enough not to have two Light-swingers going at it (See; Zandalari v Alliance Paladins) but yeah, it's still hard for us to see the Naaru and Light as anything but good. ...That isn't to say that's how people took to the Light on other planets, though. It's a big cosmos.
The "she" whos disguised might be Elune. Shes very mysterious, we know so very little about her. And yet she "abandoned" Teldrassil to its fate at an oddly bad time and has turned Tyrande into pure vengeance via Night Warrior.
They probably were. I mean, the MO of the Old Gods seems to be corrupting planets, and I imagine that once an entire planet is turned into their particular brand of insanity, that corruption will seep into its World Soul as well.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, but I get a little wary when we get a reveal of "Everything you knew was wrong, THIS is the final ultimate big bad who was masterminding everything!" I mean, I get it. The Legion couldn't be the bad guys forever, and Sargaras was going to have to be dealt with at some point. But that could have been an opportunity for a new villain potentially unconnected to the Titans, the Demons or the Void Lords. You could have had a different race of aliens, done more alternate reality stuff, etc. Going into the Shadowlands is certainly interesting, but it had the chance to finally be something not connected to the Legion for a change. Instead it sounds like the villains here will be the ones ACTUALLY responsible for everything. And when they're defeated, then what? The next villain will be the villain BEHIND the villain who was BEHIND everything? If they're going with some notion that the Jailer is some ultimate evil responsible for everything that's gone wrong in the Warcraft setting, that it's been masterminding everything to get to a certain point, then they had better end that logic chain there. Otherwise in a few years we'll get the expansion where "The Jailer was just a pawn that we used to set everything in motion, MUWHAHAHAHA!" Also, I'm annoyed with how the Light gets treated here. You'd think after untold time spent fighting the Void, they'd be used to dealing with manipulative enemies. But it feels like Blizzard has some kind of issue with the Light being an unambiguously good force when you have so many unambiguously evil forces. I also wonder what role the Light plays in the afterlife, and if Uther's soul was actually meant to rest with the Light.
You went straight from Sargeras discovering the sleeping titan being infected by the Old Gods to him making the burning legion, as opposed to the part in between where he was shunned from the Pantheon for his decision, and then afterwards he concluded that the only solution was to purge the universe of all life and from there he formed the Burning legion.
The whisper says “the vassal of life” or someone who holds power but is subservient to life. Malfurion’s eyes are green, he’s the first druid trained by cenarius, has a deep connection with the emerald dream that changed his appearance with more animal features. I think the whisper has to clearly be about him. Malfurion could be taking his grudge against the undead to maldraxxus, causing a rift and complicating things. His connection with the emerald dream grants him the trust of Ardenweld implicitly. Now even wilder speculation since we’re on the subject. Malfurion defeated long ago a nathrezim called Kathranathir. This guy was an important enemy of the Council of Tirisfal and was able to possess people. What if the treachery is not malfurion himself but kathranathir dormant within him (like sargeras within Aegwyn). What if the dormant nathrezim is powerless within malfurion... unless if the nathrezim are hailed and tied to the shadowlands maybe he will be more powerful within the shadowlands and able to affect malfurion.
Josh Gamauf that’s the one thing im not entirely sure about. Originally Illidan was born with amber eyes indicating great druidic potential while his brother was not. In game i have seen malfurion with blue eyes, sometimes he’s depicted with golden and at other times with green. He’s a character whose appearance evolves throughout the game, the golden/amber eyes might have been acquired after he trained and developed his druid powers while he might have transitioned to green eyes during his long sleep in the emerald dream.
@@z1gu4rt I believe that is the case, his eyes became gold once he harnessed the powers of nature and Druidism. Hmm, maybe his eyes turned green while he slumbered. Hard to tell.
It’s wild to think that the possibility exists that Denathrius & Zovaal are potentially ultimately the ones behind almost every single major event to have occurred in the IP.
What I still don't understand. And I wondered this for a while. Is why Disorder Fel is closer to the Light then the Void, and vise versa for Order Arcane. In my head, it always made more sense to have them switch. Especially since the Light wants to impose Order with their one truth, and the Void is pretty Discorded with it's thousand truths.
I do hope we get to meet Balnazzar, varimathras and detheroc again in shadowlands and hopefully kill them for good. That trio is one of my favourite trio to hate, but that makes them good characters imo. Though its more likely to meet Tichondrious who was a higher rank than the rest. Still, the quote that stuck with me was Balnazzar's monologue to Saidan Dathrohan. I do recall something about Balnazzar explaining himself to Saidan.
It depends on who the Winter Queen is. She is made fairly ambigious who she is based on. She could be Queen Titania, fickle but generally a good hearted fey goddess. Or she could be the Queen of Air and Darkness, if she is actually implied to be that sister, we are in for one hell of a raid boss.
If Sargeras was able to switch his faction/alignment from order to disorder, just by believing in a cause with enough passion, it would be interesting to see other beings of similar strength A. Switch to one of the others like death or life, and B. what the highest beings of those unexplored alignments, possibly from other worlds, look like, how they behave, etc. Also, it seems like some of the powerful beings in public lore aren't JUST from one of these factions, as death is controlled/wielded by fel beings, life by order beings, etc. It could be cool to see further combinations like a life being who works with shadow, or an arcane being wielding light/death/life, depending on their place in a pantheon or hierarchy.
Hey Nobbel, I love your videos, they always make me think a lot about lore. :D I just replayed a draenor quest, The Prophet's Last Message, and since a part of it kind of touches the cosmic forces, I'd like to ask a question about the Naaru (anyones answer is welcome to be honest, cause I got a bit confused). So, the Void is the opposite of Light, and we already saw a few Naaru going dark because of corruption. However, in this quest alter Velen says quote: But when their death is near, they lose their essence and collapsing into creatures of shadow; - like K'ara did. So eventually an aged/nearing death Naaru will become a dark one or how does this work since they should represent Light? Or were those dark Naaru dark because they were near their demise (as we kill them/see their deaths and in a cosmological sence who knows how "near their death" is measured)?
The issue with your speculation about the Light agent is that the report is clearly being written before the corruption of Sargeras and I am almost certain before he encountered the void corrupted Titan soul, which is before Azeroth was found and shaped or just as it was ... meaning Yasera would not exist yet .. Also the reason why the Dreadlords would be aiding the Legion so strongly is in what it did across the warcraft cosmos ... eradicating life from countless planets and causing innumerable deaths could be seen as using the Legion to strike against Life and strengthening death
I like to think of it as as Light and Darkness are two primes of Positive and Negative. The Light is the Prime of good, and the Darkness is the prime of evil. Cause I've seen in WoW that the Light shows personalities of life obviously and order, and with Darkness showing personalities of death and chaos, in other words disorder. Kind of the way I think of it, that from Light comes the cosmic entities of Life and Order, from Darkness comes Death, and Disorder. I know I'm possibly wrong, I hate it that it probably isn't, but it seems to make more sense to me that way.
@17:00 - Why would using Fel not be delicious to a Nathrezim? To be fair, we have Undead who wield the Light, but to do so is excruciating pain. For them the Light is not only this soothing comfort we hear Anduin and others talk about.
It’s extremely interesting to see how the forces of Azeroth are slowly but surely turning every cosmic force into something that whole sale benefits them.
The dread lords, were planing before the planning about the plan began planning. THE COMPLEXITY IS UNREAL!!! Nobbel, show us the red string wall conspiracy!
btw. did we just get a void lord equivalent for the light? the text mentions "the naaru and their KEEPERS" I feel like that's a pretty big reveal right? on a different note: what weakness for life in ardenweald are they talking about? what character is mentioned there?
I didn't hear you also mention that DeNATHrius' raid is called Castle NATHRIA. And, based upon how language works, the "Natherezim," could very easily be "Of Nathria." The suffix "Im," is sometimes added to a stem that is -i. Maybe they were Nathrezi, but the M got added for harmony's sake. Anyway, at this point it feels like Blizzard is beating us over the head that the NATHREzim are sired from deNATHrius.
If the dreadlords originated in Revendreth, it's possible the consumption of fel was key to them becoming demons and gaining a felsoul like some demon hunters so they don't return to the Shadowlands, but the twisting nether.
To "sire" someone as a vampire or werewolf, is basically being the one to turn them. So it might very well be Denathrius seeing as he is the first Venthyr. But then again.. might be his report to an even higher power.
Hey Nobbel. Just a quick thought and a bit of speculation. But if you look at Varimathras in Antorus and then at the Jailer. Don't they look somewhat similar? Or is it just me who've gone mad?
So if the Nathrezim that has infiltrated life is perhaps in Ardenweald, then he's probably the one who convinced the Winter Queen to sacrifice the grove where Ursoc was recovering. Dealing a blow to life by perma-deathing one of its greatest champions
I think the reason that Revendreth has been scorched by the Light is because SPOILERS According to the beta, there is a Naaru trapped in Denathrius' castle (which we might see during that raid).
With shadowlands being so big and complex, what more make curious is how complex and big the domain of life can be too. Until now we don't have nothing compared to a pantheon of life, and whats is seen in emerald dream is so tiny compared with shadowlands.
The Jailer (Zovaal) and the Primus I believe will be key as far as telling the story of the overarching war. IF the Primus is the Runeforger then that means Zovaal(The Jailer) kept him alive for a reason other than making weapons. The helm of domination and Frostmorne either belonged to the Jailer at one point or the Primus was forced to make them in captivity. The question I have is what purpose would the artifacts serve the Jailer? Sire Denathrius is helping Zovaal why? Is the Realm of Necromancy different than the Shadowlands? Is there some other powers of death that live outside of the Shadowlands we aren't aware of? So many questions lol. The Jailer looks like a Vampire. Why would destroying the helm shatter the sky like that anyway?
Hey Nobbel, I have a question I hope you can answer. What happens to a planet after a Titan wakes up? Does the planet turn into a Titan, or does the Titan become a separate entity entirely? If the former is true, what happens to the inhabitants of that planet? If the latter is true, what happens to the planet when I Titan leaves it?
A Cosmic War of Warcraft video and only a passing mention of Elune? I don't think she's going to have a protagonist/antagonist-level involvement in the Shadowlands, but between Ysera and the Nightwarrior, surely her Cosmic force is worthy of speculation? Nice video regardless :)
Do you reckon the bit about the Shadowlands having a spy within the ranks of the Light( 10:50 ) could be talking about Lorthraxion? I always felt like we got a disappointing amount of lore about him, considering he is the only friendly Nathrezim we encountered.
Should've kept watching... still Lorthraxion would be an intersting gateway into the world of the Nathrezim(what's left of it at least) and their own lore
Okay this might be a long shot but, Saurfang injured sylvanas like how Broxxigar injured Sargares. Could Sylvanas possibly become the next Sargares or even be controlled by Sargeras himself?
@Mokarokas - You say that but her being related to multiple wild gods IS her association with Life. Plus, just because there is overlap in two abilities' effects doesn't mean they are the same force. Life has always been about healing and preservation just like the Light, but they are still clearly different. Finally, her followers go to Ardenweald when they die! She even sent Ysera there, supposedly. And the since Ardenweald is directly tied to the Emerald Dream, don't give me she's "not associated with it".
@Mokarokas - Turalyon is not related to Alleria in the same way Elune is related to the Wild Gods. Cenarius is Elune's SON for Christ's sake. Chronicles is so old that what information that is not out of date is now out of context. The devs have officially named it the "Titan's view of the universe". Its not meant to be the be all and end all of the Warcraft universe. And no, the Light did not create life. Life sprung up on its own. The Light and the Void clashed creating an empty universe that was later filled. Also, priests in WoW don't get their powers from a specific deity. They get their powers from the cosmic forces that make up the universe. Shadow priests don't worship the Old Gods or the Void Lords but they still have powers of the Void. Finally, we see that former Night Warriors, some of Elune's most fervent followers, go to Ardenweald. Why wouldn't her other followers go their also? We even send the souls of the Kaldori who died in Teldrassil to Ardenweald after saving them from the Maw. Also, Ysera wasn't a follower of Elune but she was a protector of the Emerald Dream and Elune helped her specifically to reach the Shadowlands. Why would she show such favoritism if they weren't both aligned to Life? And yes, Wild Gods do get an express ticket to Ardenweald. That's EXACTLY what it's purpose is!
Isnt the frost queens sister elune? since she knew that inside the pod was the spirit of ysera and elune was the one who made ysera into a constellation after she died. They even showed that cutscene again in shadowlands
Also after watching this I realize you have never actually done a story behind Sargeras himself, only in the context of the old gods and titans, would be nice to see one.
They look a lot like the gargoyles in revendreth. You say Sargeras found them on a void controlled world. Maybe the void lords put the curse of flesh on them making them look how they do now
Still don't understand as to why some people find it weird that Draka could travel beyond Shadowlands, when Devos and Uther litterally went to Icecrown to collect Arthas's soul in the first Afterlives short.
That's part of what the kyrians do, ferry the soul between this world and the next. That's not really leaving the shadowlands, more like a guide between it. Draka shows them picking up stuff and taking it with them from the physical world
I thought it was stated that the Nathrezim were one of the first "races" ever to be around, I know they are certainly one of the oldest. It seems like from this video that Blizz is teasing that the Nathrezim were in fact Venthir that embraced the fel, then that means the realms of death were older than they were. By that process, it almost seems like Death was first, and then Life came. Very intriguing indeed!
I wonder if Calia could be a vessel of Death infiltrating Light? She might not know she is but she could be like a sleeper agent? This would also make sense with Sylvanas murdering her if she was trying to plant her by predicting the Light would bring her back
Another connection between Denathrius and the Nathrezim is the location of the book and what the Nathrezim call themselves which means unseen guest. Never mind, Nobbel got it in the vid. Very nice. Keeping his bases covered.
Um, isn't Alextraza the dragon aspect of life? Aren't her eyes green? Didn't she have an important role to play in the shadowlands quests through Aredenweald? Just looked up her character model on wowhead and her eyes are red/pink, at least in her humanoid form. Still though, no other clue who the vassal of life could be other than Alex.
Shes the life under but she play no role at all in ardenweald, that's the green dragon ysera. Alextrasza's eyes are pink in both her elf and dragon forms.
The jailer says it shortly after we meet him when escaping the maw, "Death comes for the soul of your world" meaning the Nathrizem told Sargares the truth just lied about who actually wanted to turn the world soul . In order to distract from their master while causing 2 forces to work against each other.
Wait, if Chronicle is written from the titans perspective and therefore cannot be trusted, doesn't that also mean we can't trust the cosmology chart in Chronicle?
