I love that this car isn't just kept but sometimes used. So rare, almost unknown.

Nice to see Jane's Gamine in action!! The production numbers stated might not be correct... In the International Gamine Register we now have 560 Gamines in 29 countries, most of them based in Italy. In the UK 64 RHD are known. Only 12 RHD in other countries!

The death wobble is a sign of worn steering parts , it should be inspected and restored , it should drive perfectly .

Back in the late 70s i had a workshop on a farm preparing German military vehicles for Tony Oliver for the film Escape to Athena. On that same farm David Cameron was producing the Jimini kit car. Smile or laugh I remember in bognor Regis their was a garage that used to sale them it was the Spanish garage neer Butlins holiday camp

I bought one in the early 70's for 350 pounds. Unfortunately I already had a Morris 1000 convertible painted up as a noddy car so didn't give it a new paint job. Drove like a go cart around town, had no fuel gauge and the roof leaked a lot and internal rust was a major issue. I was in my early twenties and it was such fun to drive and impressed the ladies more than an MGB!

this is one of my favorite cars ever! it's the real life version of a Noddy/Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck,etc car! i remember questioning why so many older cartoon characters driven this car and also if such car existed in real life! its cool to see that it does exist! 😁i of course nick name this the Noddy Car!

I drove mine to the launch of the new 500 back in 2007 covered over 3000 miles from Scotland and joined the tour of Europe. If you can’t drive over 40 in it there is something very wrong with either the steering or drive shafts. The sills may have been restored as they look a bit flat rather the curved.
