The talented actor shot to stardom when he secured the lead role in Menace ll Society. But behind the scenes, Tyrin was more like his character than what the general public perceived.
In my opinion he is big and Kane will forever be remembered , he may not of become super famous but he still working and bringing home the bag , it's better than Fallin off and being nothing.
Menace 2 Society is the greatest hood movie ever. Coming from someone from NY. Still can watch that movie over and over and never gets old. He should have had more roles but once you do a hood movie it’s hard to get other roles. Same thing happened to some of the young actors from the Wire. One of the reasons you won’t see Idris playing another role like Stringer Bell. Some actors play the “hood” role so well they are boxed into the role in which it’s hard to get other roles.
Pac wasn't trying to play the Cane role in Menace II Society. It was Shareef the Muslim character he was going to play, but didn't because he thought there were issues with his back story that the Hughes brothers didn't want to include in the script.

I was at the Christmas party at Jamie Foxx's house off Tampa Ave in Tarzana in '05. Just about every major Black entertainment personality in LA was there. About 4 AM, Jamie got a call that Suge was at the gas station at the corner of his block and on his way to the party. People was getting little with the quickness. I think Tyrin may have been staying with Jamie at that time, so I didn't see him leave. But some other WELL KNOW rappers got the fuck outta Dodge!!! That was a crazy ass night. Anybody who was there knows what I'm talking about.

I just changed my avatar to a pic of me, Will Smith and Lamont Cain (Producer of All About The Benjamins) from a party that Will had for Terence Howard a week before Jamie's party. Lamont was at Jamie's crib that night too. True Hollywood stories!!! 😂😂😂

How you not gone say nothing about him being in ghetto stories which is boosie and webbie movie. The storyline wasn’t bad but the acting by everyone but Tyrin was horrible. It’s a good hood movie though.
