i hope they go into more detail about Deimos's hatred for rainbow. something about how rainbow over the years before had "gotten soft" in his word was by their morality and willingness to try and save everyone has gotten in the way of the hard choices and the necessary sacrifices they have to make for the greater good.
My theory of Deimos, I think he is the ex-op, recruit. Think about it, he knows all ops, and how they are… so that would explain why he knows Harry’s home, and know a lot! It’s just a guess, but I do like it, because that would explain why he isn’t in anything other than “newcomer”.
Love the content! You actually inspired me to go all the way back in the lore for R6 and I've started reading the 1st book in the series "Rainbow Six". Though reading it got me thinking, what if Deimos is/is related to John Clark the main protagonist from the 1st book (he also shows up in the games) who essentially CREATED team Rainbow in the first place? Maybe it's his Son-In-Law; Domingo "Ding" Chavez who took over Rainbow after Clark retired, trying to avenge his "disgraced" squad? IDK I'm like 99% sure I'm probably wrong but hey, who knows? Keep up the vids Kudos!
Love these lore videos as someone whos been out of Siege for a while the cat up has been brilliant! Easy subscribe! On the note of Daimos it would be pretty cool if he aws linked in anyway to the Vegas as a fun nod to the previous titles!
WAIT I'M PRETTY SURE THAT TECHNICAL ON THE PLANE IS SKELL TECH! Canonically, thanks to a few crossovers that each confirm this, the R6 and Ghost Recon universes are the same. Also, it's the same universe as almost all Tom Clancy games, but the GR Breakpoint is the same universe, as confirmed in GR Wildlands when the ghost squad comments on Skell being their main seller of recon equipment. If that technical is, in fact, Skell Tech in origin, it's a good idea to assume that this guy was, at least partially, responsible for the fumble when trying to take over Skell's state-of-the-art island. If he was, there's a good chance he may be Lt. Col. Walker. He's made strives like this before, breaking away from the classic military hierarchy, disobeying orders, to beat a CIA mole and almost kill the spook, Bowman, in Wildlands. He is also the main antagonist of Breakpoint.
His outfit also looks very similar to the wolves from breakpoint, and the weapon he used to kill harry was also the same walker uses, so this theory is VERY likely
Really don’t get why they haven’t made a campaign story mode. The lore is rich and all laid out. Would love an alternative main game mode other than ranked. Also would be sick to see how they play out the backstory for every individual operator. But Ubisoft sleeping on us.
What if in next season comic or into the animated comic they do have a huge fight wich leads to the destruction of tower, leading us to its rework in y9 where they rebuilt it?
Man, Ubisoft needs to make Patriots a book if they’re not gonna make a game on the subject matter. If Deimos is James Wolfe or even Echo Leader, we need to see how he got to this fall.
Small nitpick, unwittingly is not the way in which Thermite agrees, for unwittingly implies that Thermite had no idea that Hibana would give permission to Brava to lead that mission.
Deimos miscalculated, he doesn't see the new Rainbow as improvement he thinks that they aren't just as Lethal as his team was, which was likely active during the Patriot era of Team Rainbow, and that will be what does him in. Deimos clearly forgot, you don't get picked to be on Rainbow for being average.
