I was actually there for that assembly and I remember trying so hard to hold back my tears. At one point it became so hard and I just started ugly crying everywhere.

I cried. My dad is turning 60 on May 18th, and I can’t handle how old he’s getting. My grandpa didn’t even live until 70, so I’m terrified my dad will die before 70 as well. Why couldn’t I be a better daughter? Why do I have to argue with him all the time? He’s my DAD, and one of my biggest heroes. My parents give love a meaning. I love you, Mom and Dad.

I can feel this guy. I lost my dad to covid I loved my dad sooo much but I felt like never showed it. When he passed i was sad i but tried to keep strong for my mom the next day i was just sitting at the table quietly I was thinking of all the time he did stuff for me and I repaid him with anger I was mean to him. My mom comes in the kitchen she ask if I'm ok then i broke down and said no i told her how i felt and we hugged for a long time. I miss my dad very much❤

My mom and I both got Covid last December, and truthfully, I was TERRIFIED I would lose my mom. I wasn’t afraid to die, but I couldn’t handle losing my mom, my rock. Thankfully, we both recovered, but it was a scary time.

Everytime I watch this I cry. I used to say a lot of things to my dad I didnt mean, he passed away 2 years ago and i never got to say goodbye. If I had a chance to see him again i would take it.

I always act this way with my dad. I'm a high school student. Whenever I'm out with friends my single parent dad will call me at like 10:30pm and make sure I'm okay. And every single time, he would say, "You know I can't sleep unless I know you're okay." and I would just shrug it off. Whenever I get home, he would come knock on my bedroom door & try to have a conversation with me, I would just make small talk until he left. He would always write notes and leave it on the kitchen counter saying stuff like "I'll be home shortly, and I'll fix dinner when I get home. Stay inside, be safe. Love, Dad." He would always tell me he's proud of me. I would just ignore him. Same with my sister. She just graduated high school and unexpectedly moved out when no one was home. It broke my dads heart. Now whenever I move out, he will be all alone. I feel horrible for the acts I have done. My dad always gives me advice. "Know who your friends are and who your friends aren't" "Don't lie. It will follow you around until someone finds the truth." "Be thankful for what you got, not what you don't got" "Sleep and eating properly are the best things for you." The list could go on, but it just goes to show you how much he truly cares and believes in me and I just keep shrugging it all away. This video really inspired me to appreciate my father and the things he does for me in my 16 years of life. What I learned from this is that although it is sometimes very annoying for your parents to over-care for you and always make sure you're okay, it's amazing to know that they're the one person to believe in you and love you the most. Embrace it, because I definitely will. Thank you, Dad. I love you.

this make me remember when my dad passed away 6 years ago. i was at game center when my cousin message me on facebook that my dad is sick and i need to go home, i ignored the message cuz my dad is always like that when he wanted attention from people, 2 hours later my cousin message me again that i need to go home cuz my dad just passed away. i look down the floor, my chest is hurt, can't even crying. when i arrived at home and see my mom standing and looking at me, i'm starting to cry and hug my mom, and i say "mom why dad still sleeping ? why everybody is in here ? they can wake him up". it's wierd to know that the person you've met everyday since you're kid, teach you how to ride a bicycle, carrying you to bed when you fall asleep on living room, the place to hide when your mom angry, is gone forever. 6 years has passed and i'm still miss him so much

This made me weep bc my Mom just passed in November and I recognized he is Marc Mero in professional wrestling which I have been a lifelong fan of wrestling... Everything he said I have dealt with and continue to have conflicts about in my mind. This is probably the biggest hitting home motivational video bc of all the similarities I've ever experienced. I just started grief counseling so I'm hoping I can get through this for the sake of my children. I live overseas, about 8000+ miles away from my dad. I had a dream earlier today that I got to hug him and I woke up in tears. It's been two years since I've seen him and I'm planning a trip and saving money for him to come see me and have a nice little vacation away from home. I can't wait to be with him again. You should love and appreciate your parents because one day,they are going to be gone. One day is going to be their last day with you. You never know when they are gonna be gone. So tell them you love them,hug them,kiss them on the forehead and cheek. Your parents love you so much. Today,i was really sick and my mom said this to me "I'de rather be sick instead of you being sick". We yell across rooms and tell eachother that we love eachother.
