Hey whats up dude i hope you are good. It's been 1 month since my injury (mild tennis elbow) and my hand has almost healed. I am watching your videos and you are a crazy motivation to start training again. I only work planche but your videos about front lever make me wanna start training it. 💪🏻💪🏻
Hey barkage! You did an amazing job again:) I was wondering about a one arm front lever tutorial, it's a really good looking skill, btw what's your thoughts on it??
the s.a.t is one of my goals, but i need to fix my retraction when i'm doing a front lever first, i can hold a front lever for 20+ seconds but i can't retract when i'm doing it, i think the reason is that i haven't tlreally trained front lever at all until the past month but i always had a front lever because i built the shoulder strengh needed from the planche training but i don't have an exercise that targets the back so maybe that's my week point, i resently started working on the retraction with resistance bands and including exercises that target the back so hopefully i'll get that fixed soon.
Hello mate!! Before I watch the video, I got a question. So is using bands for front lever pull helpful? I watched ur tutorial on FL pull ups but I can't work on that drill yk. So i wonder if Is it helpful to spam Banded front lever pull ups. Nice contenct bro your so strong 🔥🔥
Make sure you can row first. Aim for OA rows with correct retraction. Chest to bar. Then you should be able to touch Adv tuck and lowering eccentrics and the other stuff he mentions.
@@loldddddgt1322 well i can hold front lever for 6 seconds and can do one leg FL pull up. I wanna know if resistance band FL pull ups are helpful or no. And ye lowering as eccentrics is good as he says i agree
there are 2 kind of SATs: the straight arm touch, and the standardized test from the college board 💀 definitely prefer the straight arm touch tbh🤣 anyhow great video as always 💪
What is the width of your (external to external) wrist placement? Not sure if it makes a difference especially if athletes have longer or shorter arms but it could help to know that as a starting/reference point. it looks around 85-90cm
Can you make a video on backlever pullups? I can pelican negative now, but can’t quite understand how the pulling works. I can sort of do it with pronation, but with supination (w/ fg), I just can’t figure out how to pull out of a locked position. I can do some pelican curls with feet supported, but once I lock in at the bottom, I can’t pullup. I need tips on that bottom range of motion since everything else is fine.
Do back lever holds, help with planche holds? I've never trained back lever, and i tried it recently so I'm thinking I might incorporate it so I can improve on my planche.
Why isn't this skill called the Bar Victorian Cross since your hands and your body would nearly be on the same plane ( like in the Maltese on floor or on bar )
