Since its inception back in 1989, the timberwolves have seen a number of franchise players come and go over the years. Still, there has only ever been one player who personifies the true face of Minnesota: Kevin Garnett.
Ultimately, Garnett would play 21 seasons in the league, during which he was named the league’s 2004 MVP, and Defensive Player of the Year in 2008, on his way to receiving a ring that same year. Over the course of his extensive career, one thing about Garnett remained consistent - his intensity, with which he could enliven any crowd. Few people - players or fans - in the league’s history have ever matched Garnett’s enthusiasm for both the game of basketball and love for their team.
Except for maybe the Wolves’ superfan, Jiggly Boy.
