This is a high quality show. The artwork actually aids in getting an image of what happened. Well done. I love the fact that there is NO scary mood music throughout....Just calm precise narration.
It is. High quality and one of the best cryptozoological users on this platform. It can be unsettling and Bob's narration combined with the visuals does give an eerie vibe much like an early Doctor Who serial.
He doesn't need scary music to scare the crap out of me. I concentrate so hard, I get a headache. One night my huge cat jumped down from my window and nearly gave me heart failure. This is a great channel !!!!
I live in PA and I can assure you that this entire state is infested with weird stuff. You might think of Pittsburgh or Philly when you think about PA, but most of the state is deep woods and rural.
Born & raised there. Hunted & fished all up in them there woods. A buddy and me almost got run over by a driverless car on a dirt road, it was an old dark green Dodge with suicide doors. Scared the fuck out of us. We stayed in the treeline afterwards, I'll take my chances with a black bear over a ghost car.
LostInPA Six years ago I rode my motorcycle from CA on a 15,000 mile trek to bag the 16 states I had never been in.....all of them east of the Mississippi. I was just in the southern end of PA, on my way to Maine having breakfast when I got into a conversation with a local. He told me about highway 12, which is in the northern part of the state and goes all the way across it. I went on to Maine, but when I returned, I aimed for the eastern part of PA, picked up highway 12 and rode it entirely across the state.....seems like about 400 miles. It was a great highway, much of it heavily forested with light traffic and I remember it as one of the highlights of my 15K trip.
Hi Bob! I grew up two properties away (only about 1\8 mile )from the encounter with the glowing ufo and two creatures. I wasn't born until 1977, but my parents and older brother were there. My mom said that she and a neighbor walked down to see what the all the commotion was about, but they didn't see anything and the police wouldn't let them get very close to where the encounter happened. Over the years, my family and I also witnessed a lot of strange things on our property and in the area. Growing up, my oldest brother would look out his bedroom window at night on multiple occasions and see UFOs with beams of !ight shining down from them. He was terrified! Several times we found large circular areas in ours and our neighbors yards where the grass was a yellowish color. These odd circles were there for years! On one occasion, the neighbor kids and I were taking a walk in the nearby woods and discovered a dead cow with it's insides strewn over a large area.
I live in Kecksburg PA and I have never met anyone that lived here at the time that said nothing happened.. My dad saw all of the military all over the area
This is why I like you so much Bob, whether you believe a story or not, you still do a thorough and unbiased investigation. YOU are what the bigfoot/cryptid community need more of. Thanks for all the work!
Your like an american version of the channel "Bedtime stories" I mean for real, the way you talk and the artwork along with the in depth research and looking at things from multiple angles, I'm subscribing and definitly checking out more vids, thumbs up on all I check out!
What a strange and fascinating tale. I can't wrap my head around all these connections. To me what this suggests- is that regardless of what we believe or don't believe- reality is a lot- weirder- than most of us are even capable of fathoming. Great work Bob. I think I've watched nearly every video now since finding this channel a week or two ago. I'll be salivating for more, though I understand this type of material can never be rushed. Thanks for your work and know I'll be sharing it with any open-minded friends I have. Take care.
Maybe I'm wrong to share this, but the almighty God has already revealed the truth about the saucer flying thingies and things that hide in the woods. Watch the master's voice prophecy blog. There are playlists. You might find what you're interested in.
"And though Barry was done with the paranormal, the feeling wasn't mutual." That right there gave me chills...It resonated a bit too close to home with my own experiences. Especially since it was just after you saying he didn't know what those lights were, but he didn't really want to know either. I've had that exact same experience with a source of moving multicolor lights outside my house and just thinking "NOPE! I'm done." It was one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had, and was coupled with other strange things happening simultaneously. It wasn't too long after I had my first sighting of UFOs. After this experience with the terrifying lights, things were never quite the same. Although things mostly went back to normal, I've had strange experiences, including additional UFO sightings that seemed more like "encounters" than passively witnessing something. One time it seemed to "react" to my awareness of it and shot up in the sky the exact moment I pointed at it and shouted "That's a f*cking UFO!" to my family, who also saw it. Less than an hour later, we had electrical disturbances involving car audio and our cell phones that we're still at a loss to explain and too complicated to get into here. I think some refer to this as the "hitchhiker effect", where you experience strange or paranormal phenomena, then it's almost like a part of it "follows you home" and you continue to experience strangeness well after the fact. If I didn't have other sober credible witnesses to some of my UFO sightings, I'd have thought I was going insane long ago. Sometimes that still seems more likely, and definitely more comforting, than the alternatives, for which I have no concrete example or explanation. Isolated incidences of acute psychosis brought on by stress genuinely seem preferable to me in terms of explaining some of these experiences. Psychosis is either temporary or can be managed with treatment. The fact that I'm psychologically healthy (more or less) and not experiencing anything like this day to day is almost more worrying looking back. I was never obsessed or even that interested with this stuff before 2013 when I first saw UFOs (a seemingly random encounter) and started experiencing high strangeness.
Some of this reminds me of the Skinwalker Ranch , the Bigfoot crawling through a sort of tunnel in the sky . Great video by the way , so pleased I found your channel .
Hey bob, great video as always! I dont know how you dont have way more subscribers and views...you do the best bigfoot vids BY FAR. Keep getting the truth out there brother!
Imagine a toothless, mangy Bigfoot sticking his head in your car. Lol I'm sure the fisherman didn't mention the load he left in his pants when that happened. Great video
tense99 imagine hitting a Bigfoot with your car and while you’re dialing up a ambulance it gets up and totals your car with its strength before wandering off.
That is the part I keep obsessing over. Did he escape from some research lab on the UFO that crashed? It perturbs me and I think someone should definitely make a documentary there and get to the bottom of everything that went on there during that time period. Bob?
I feel really bad for that Bigfoot. I think that someone was perhaps experimenting on him. I think that this poor Bigfoot escaped and needed help. And I think the way he waved was him mimicking humans.
Bob Gymlan 😂 all joking a side the animation is very good and really adds to what already were excellent videos. This is ya first one that left me disturbed, due to the supernatural aspect. I’m comfortable with the idea of Bigfoot as an animal but I don’t like the thought that there is something more sinister at work! Great work again though 👍🏻👍🏻
What if the Bigfoot are like payed delivery men or they use them to recover things (do ground missions). Or like prisoners an some have escaped and that’s y we have small populations here there 😳😪...
I heard there’s a connection with the UFOs no I’ve never heard of Bigfoot Cain some lighted object in his hand, this is the first time 😳interesting though, a big foot didn’t go down with a 30-06 caliber ! I don’t know what to tell you 👨
There simply isn't anyone in the bigfoot/crypto narration game who can match your research, writing skill, and absolutely captivating narration style. 100 kudos - glad to have found you.
Most place names in the US, and especially in the original 13 states, were taken from where settlers lived, often in the British isles. Baltimore, Boston, York, PA and VA, are a few. Derry, PA predates the writer of horror tales by a long shot. Most of whose writing is deeply grounded in East Coast ways.
This is a fantastic channel. I enjoy and respect the diligence of the research and development of each story. You even spend hours asking witnesses questions about the story. Bob,Your passion really shines through each story.
Your channel is the most concise one out there for subjects like this. There was a bigfoot encounter where a boy was grabbed from a family farm, the bigfoot was shot and the jacket the boy was wearing was soaked in blood so they sent it away for testing. The jacket was laundered and returned to them clean by a nameless agent who threatened them. It could be the connection between subjects considered "unknown" is just the use of goons. Like the connection between the Mothman sightings and the Silver Bridge disaster let's say the UFO crash and the bigfoot encounters were just a coincidence. Many people believe the UFO was a crashed Soviet capsule launched that same day which was acorn-shaped; the government could simply have the same attitude about bigfoot as they do about the UFO, in fact if you think about that rural area as a "precinct" the decisions might even have been made by one guy.
After i listen to your videos i feel like im left with answers but more questions. YOUR THE MOST LOGICAL BIGFOOT RESEARCHER OUT THE BOB AND IM SPREADING THE WORD!!!
Never disappointed when I watch your creations, excellent narration and awesome illustrations as usual, thanks for your awesome take on this fantastic story.
I love your channel, you stay original with your accounts/stories. You don't vary off path, and you always deliver through the whole story to the end. Thank you for giving us something intelligent to listen to. Keep up the good work! 👍
As one of your first 5 subscribers( #4, I believe) you've just gotten better! I didn't see how that could be possible, considering how amazing you were. But there it is! You are so interesting, detailed and informative. Always love ya! Your friend and keeper of the sweetest bigfoot finger puppet ever! I keep it safely in my jewelry box. Means so much to me. Thanks again.
I only just discovered your channel; it was recommended to me via RU-vid for those who are subscribed to "ThinkerThunker." I have to say that I'm impressed with your research and I love the original artwork. Also, your coverage of the events in Pennsylvania that occurred after the incident of the object that crashed at Kecksburg are top-notch. John Keel was among the first investigators to show a connection between bigfoot sightings and UFOs, something that almost no other bigfoot researchers discuss in much depth these days. I'm not sure where I stand on that alleged connection myself, but, like you, I'm willing to listen to stories like these and consider them respectfully. Nice work! I'm subscribing.
Hey Bob I’m not sure if you’ll read this but your channel is by far my favorite and I absolutely can’t wait for your next video. I like the no nonsense intellectual and in depth look into these events. Thank you for everything.
You're my favorite channel on RU-vid, and your content is always improving. That's impressive. I watch and rewatch your videos on a regular basis. Keep it up, man
@@new_hampshire since his name has nothing to do with Vitor Antunes' comment.... I'm curious if you brought up the topic of "cleverly hijacking that name" since you've done that exact same thing? 😬😁😂 PS...JK
New Hampshire I’m the real Bob Gymlan. Not the real Bob Gimlin. Never claimed to be. Do you like my Texan drawl? Or how about my picture? Does that look like the real Bob Gimlin. I’m sure it’s very hard for you. Does capitalizing words make you feel like you typed them louder?
@@new_hampshire Can you reference where you got your info? or.. Are you simply making assumptions based on the topic of his research? Yes, most people would assume they're related, without noticing the difference in spelling (myself included). But common sense alone would tell you that he's not Roger Patterson's partner seeing as how Robert "Bob" Gimlin was in his late 30's in 1967 when the "Patty" footage was captured. The Bob Gymlan who runs this RU-vid channel sounds like a younger man who's wise, very well educated, curious (😉) and he definitely doesn't have a southern accent . Robert Gimlin is almost 90 yro now. I've never heard him claim to be Roger Patterson's partner. I've watched all of his videos on here (some multiple times), I read the descriptions posted with each video and I skim through the comments on occasion. I personally thought he may be his grandson but never Robert himself. Bob Gymlan has a huge interest in Bigfoot and produces very informative videos on the subject. He's said himself that he has a black book that contains 422 topics on Bigfoot that he'd like to cover so that alone is evidence of his passion. Robert Gimlin steered clear of the topic as much as possible for several decades. What's the point of all that? ...Coincidence. I personally don't believe coincidence exists. There's more to it than that. Bob Gimlin and Bob Gymlan have a few things in common. Their names are nearly the same except spelled differently. They're both associated with the topic of Bigfoot (which is sadly still taboo or a fairytale for most people). But one of them tried to avoid the topic and the other is exhausting himself in an effort to research and expose it. I'm curious to know if Bob's parents gave him that name because theirs is similar to Mr. Gimlin's , or if it was fate. Bob Gimlin will always be linked to the Patty footage and the Bigfoot topic no matter how much he wanted to hide from it. Bob Gymlan has a passion for the subject, he's intelligent, clever, curious and will undoubtedly be successful in his research, raising awareness, exposing the truth of a subject purposely hidden from the world. He has somewhat of an advantage or platform, if you will, because of their names. That name is key. Patterson is a common name so its not automatically associated with Bigfoot. But Gimlin, no matter how its spelled, makes you think about that footage and/or Bigfoot.
@@BobGymlan "Does capitalizing words make you feel like you typed them louder?" 😂 That's by far one of the funniest, and true, responses I've ever read 😁😂
Such an intriguing and Amazing combination of research, artwork and narration, We absolutely love and are yearning for more and more of your conveyance of these subjects Bob, Thank YOU.
This all happened in the Chestnut ridge are of pa. Lots of weird stuff goes on there... You should check out the documentary on Amazon. Called Chestnut ridge I think
I know this is late but... I think they creatures are skinwalkers... Which are actually unclean spirits taking the form of different animal and person combinations... The fear you feel when around one is unique .. I have had several encounters with these beings in my life and I will never forget the horror I felt
I've absolutely loved everything I've seen on your channel, but this one has been my favorite by far. Iknow you'll keep up the great work snd somehow even improve with time. I greatly anticipate your next video. And thanks an awful lot for continuing to stimulate our minds.
Your are a class A illustrator, Bob Gymlan. I havnt seen that quality since the Sunday "funnies" section of Newsday! You are a very talented individual!
Wonderful video as always! The addition of the illustrations works so well. The research, narration and artwork that went into this are all amazing. Keep up the good work!
@@BobGymlan That's not the point Bob, Nobody is right, tracers should not be able to illuminate the creature, i shot tracers myself in the military in complete darkness, but i've never seen that. You would rather need some sort of flare gun.
@@blackholebomb7676 The man fired over the creatures' heads and the tracers illuminated half the field, so no. I did a little more research on this. Due to the way tracer rounds are constructed, namely with the pyrotech charge at the bottom of the bullet, most types of tracer rounds can really be seen only from the shooter's perspective which is their core function, to show the ballistic arc of the bullets fired and to indicate a target to other shooters during bad lighting conditions, not to illuminate the entire area. But I found video footage of tracer types which were indeed brighter. They did illuminate a small area beneath their flightpath, but this was mostly with automatic fire, thus the quick succession of tracer bullets created someting of a almost continuous light stream. The man at the incident however fired single shots with a rifle. Also keep in mind that the bullet travels at +2000fps, so it would illuminate one spot only for a tiny fraction of a second. Even when firing multiple shots, I find it hard to believe that he could see the creature's shape through the tracer light.
@@ThePuschkin1986 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s7w8stVpOdQ.html tracer rounds can easily illuminate something. admittedly its a much slower bullet, but its also a much smaller bullet with much less tracer compound than a 30-06, and with residual daylight, taken through a camera, not light adjusted eyes. you aren't going to be illuminating a whole field to full visual conditions, but in the dead of night and with adjusted eyes, they can easily illuminate tens of meters. they can absolutely illuminate something within a few meters of the bullet's trajectory. our brains are excellent at recognizing fleeting images that are only exposed in the millisecond range. this is probably bad napkin math, but a tracer travelling at 2000fps would be within 2 meter of a subject for about 240ms, that's ample time to illuminate a subject for long enough for a person to be able to make out basic features, especially when the light source is moving and giving spatial information, and with follow-up shots. even more time if the sphere of illumination is bigger. i can attest to being able to notice a single frame in a video game being enough to register the shape of something, and that's 13ms. it seems plausible to me.
The artwork is super! I've been studying the paranormal since the 60's, and ten years ago (once I got tenure) I started teaching a course on it at the University where I am a professor. And Bob, of all the crazy stuff I've read, watched, and investigated, this video is the most creepy, bar none. Skinwalker Ranch has nothing on Kecksburg!
The nation, plus the world, needs more courses like the one you teach. These entities do exist and I’ve been fascinated ever since I read a Bigfoot article regarding the Patterson film in elementary school during the 4th grade. Whatever the truth is, our government knows the truth and they can create their own "monsters" within a lab. As for what lies beyond our planet, we need to be self aware that we are most certainly NOT alone.
I love your videos for the very reason that you don't shove this bigfoot stuff down our throats, you tell the story straight forward and leave it up to us whether we want to believe it or not. thank you! Ps. You have the voice for this.
@@NicoG575 yep, I agree, love that guy. Sasquatch Chronicles is also great, mostly first hand encounters, told by the witness. Check out the "Glagg Saga". It's 7 parts, (use headphones, the first ep is hard to hear), and will undoubtedly erase any question in your hearts about the validity of these things. Make sure you're alone in the house for episode 6.. I'm not a big crier, but I wailed through this one. Heed my advice. Thankfully, no one was home while I listened.
I am very impressed by your channel. It is thoughtful, concise, and, intelligent. I wish I had found your channel before I found other Bigfoot literature. Please post more videos. I enjoy your voice, way with words, and, your passion for the subject.
Your videos have amazing quality!! I love your channel. Do you also have a podcast? If not, you should start one. I know I’d listen to it. Keep up the great work!! 😊👍👏
Hey Bob, could you talk about the Carter Farm with a man supposedly manage to "tame" or "habituate" a group of Sasquatch and the story's uthenticity? Also, I love your content. I love the fact that you look at Sasquatch from a scientific, logical, and unbiased standpoint, and I also added all of your videos (or at least I think I did) to my Cryptozoology Playlist. Keep up all of your great work. (:
