The STRANGEST Easter Egg in the FNaF Movie EXPLAINED - DMuted 

I can't tell you how shocked I was seeing Ella and Sparky in the movie.

I personally thought the strangest Easter egg was sparky the dog, because not many people actually know about it, it's not that well known. (at least in my experience)

I'm a casual fnaf fan and still understood the easter egg, i've noticed a strange trend between theorists particularly of this franchise that they miss out on obvious details and references despite making multi hour long videos about the series.

We know during the making of the movie Scott did have plans for it to be a adaptation of the novels so maybe the Ella spring lock suit is just a left over from that original plan for the movie

The oddest bit for me is was Mike telling Vanessa his VERY rose-tinted family history. It’s too good. Holding hands and saying grace? Ok, but it sounded like a programmed idealised memory. Are Mike’s memories more than dreams?

One thing that I thought before I remembered Ella was that the springlock suit in the back was a puppet redesign

I went to watch the movie with a group of friends, and when I saw Ella, I was shocked, and I started saying to my friends “That’s Ella, that’s Ella! Did you saw her?”, but then, I remember that I’m was the only one of the group who read the books, so they didn’t know what I was talking about. 😅😢

Something I've actually thought about and think is going to happen is that Baby is going to be implemented in someway, the movie has some heavy similarities to Silver Eyes and I wouldn't be surprised if she appeared as a villain in the next movies to help William.

I love fuf at Freddies

I loved the movie. Something that got my brain going is that old 2018 post from Scott saying the movie trilogy would mirror the first three games. That means no CC, CB, Bite of 83, etc. I’m trying to figure out if the man’s going for a big fat retcon.

I also watched the fnaf movie twice but it kinda felt like they just put a bunch of significant moments and people into a hat and went around drawing one and trying to connect them into a movie plot like an improv class

Honestly hoping that they just stick with the original focal point of fnaf lore for the movies, that being the first 3 games. I feel like sister location, security breach, and even lore aspects of help wanted dive too far into the sci-if horror category as opposed to being a more old timey phasmophobia (if that makes sense). I think fnaf shines Best lore and horror wise when it’s more realistic to our world’s technology, and not the future when animatronics have segmented faces and jumping all over the place, just my opinion.

Real talk? I think the sequel might combine the plots of FNaF 2 and Sister Location. This first movie's like a mixture of FNaF 1, FNaF 4, and The Silver Eyes- all part 1's in a trilogy: - [FNaF 1] After the previous guard dies, Mike Schmidt works Five Nights at Freddy's™ as the new nightguard. - [FNaF 4] Mike has a tragic past where his irresponsibility accidentally gets his younger brother killed. - [Silver Eyes] A group visit a long-closed Freddy's to try to solve the mystery of a loved one's disappearance (plus the Foxy arcade scare and Afton's death). I think the next movie is gonna combine all the part 2's: FNaF 2, Sister Location, and The Twisted Ones. They all feature super-advanced plastic-y robots built after Freddy's shuts down, they all expand of Afton's past crimes, and they all introduce a new central villain- the Puppet in FNaF2 and Circus Baby in SL and TTO. The movie hinted at both- Baby w/ Abby & the Ella suit, and the Puppet in the credits.

I personally think the Ella springlock suit is suppose to connect Abby to Charlotte. The only problem with my theory is that the Silver Eyes novels and 1:35 AM versions of Ella has some connection to Circus Baby.

Clearly the most vague and unclear easter egg in the film is the Chica mask on the top shelf of the Prize Corner, with many strong story influence and importance!

I see 4 possibilities assuming Henry doesn't exist, 1. Ella is just a precursor for baby, and Abby will die and possess her and William will find some way to make her work for him like the other kids, only for her to eventually turn on him. 2. Baby is just an AI William builts to go after Abby but doesn't succeed, 3. Ella really is just nothing more than an easter egg, and Vanessa will turn into Vanny in some way, probably through William controlling her somehow since I think it would be retreading the first movie if she just goes back to choosing to help him again. Or 4 if Scott wants to go with the wild card and th option I hope for the most, but is pretty unlikely and that's Abby's name and her being put into Ella is just a nod to Mike's sister in the games in case they only got one movie, but if they make more then Ella will be a precursor to baby, however baby will be possessed by the real Elizabeth who is Vanessa's sister, who willingly works for afton more out of her desire to please him like previous iterations of the character rather than working for him out of fear like Vanessa, it's imo the way I would want them to incorporate her as a villain the most since I like baby as a villain more than Vanny, I don't want her to be just an AI or Abby only working for afton because she is being controlled like the others as that would take away what makes baby special as a character IMO, also I don't want abby to die lol.

I have a theory: William and his wife are confirmed to have been divorced and that William cheated his way of custody of Elizabeth (Michael Afton's sister) so it's likely that Mike's father we see is actually his step father and William got custody of his daughter. It lines up with Mike and Vanessa being about the same age, William’s reaction to knowing Mike's full name and him knowing about Mike's brother.

For me the best easter egg when was cory went “ aaaaargrhhhh” when balloon boy jumped him

After watching the movie my friends said it was circus baby and then a showed them my 1:35 am book telling them it was Ella and then watched all my friends disappear

I’m a little sad about the whole “Abby or Vanessa being the Elizabeth stand-in for the movies” thing. Elizabeth being Baby in the movies would finally give her a chance to be a proper villain that gets good writing and screentime. Plus, there would be the potential sibling dynamic between Elizabeth and Vanessa that could lead to some nead character development on both sides. So I hope the Abby/Vanessa/Elizabeth connections aren’t followed up on, but if they can make this new direction work then I’m fine with seeing how it goes.

Genuinly don't want the game lore to seep into the movie lore, i felt like everything got reset to the simple days of FNAF 1 after watching the movie, y'know, it was a simple story, which we could theorize about endlessly, just like we're doing with the movie, but if the games seep too much into the movie lore, it's gonna be b a d.

Honestly, I dont think baby or vanny are even going to show up in a major way, if at all. this is because of the way the film ends: it basically sets up two potential movies. Springtrap is obvious but the one that has me the most curious is that Vanessa is in a coma. and that premise links to one fnaf game in particular. I genuinely think the second movie is going to be an adaptation of 4 based on the original concept of 4's premise (a coma) but with some modern cast twists and unique takes like the first movie. and because of that, i don't think theres really going to be room for baby, vanny could maybe work if we get to see more of vanessas past (kinda like how we see the crying child's life one week before the incident) but idk when that could fit in and not contradict her current job as a police officer. but yeah, thats my thought on the baby and vanny thing with the setups at the end of the film kinda already implying what the other two movies are gonna be and honestly leaving little room for any sister location and SB stuff.

Was pleasantly surprised with the movie. Not perfect in any way it sure had its flaws, general 7/10 for me, but I am confident the second movie will be even better

Y'all noticed how in the movie, Afton's & Henry's families are basically switched around? Come to think of it, could Mike's family possibly be HENRY's family?? Think about it, Henry had only 1 daughter in the games, & now Afton only has one daughter in the film. Meanwhile, Afton in the games had 2 boys and 1 girl, which is exactly what Mike's family in the movie is, including himself. See where I'm going with this?

Maybe it's because I'm 47, but I was VERY disappointed in the movie. Now, the animatronics were incredible, and for anyone unfamiliar with the franchise, it must have been great. However, as a fan solely from watching Let's Play videos & not having read any books, it was not at all what I was looking forward to.

Dmuted , what do you think, if circus baby in fourth closest was not lying, when she say, she is the Charlie john met when they were kid,that why she is so obsessed with him, why her friends think she was charlie, she was like that when they are kid, that why she knows calton is lying to her so why she is trying to harm her friends? its because of 4th Adult robot was filled and created by rage, which affects her personality to be super dangerous that why in the end, tennager charlie and adult charlie fused together and stay together with john at the end, its because that rage is finally gone why she is want to help william in fnaf 6?, its because we get wrong, she didn't come there to help, but to ripped him apart into pieces why? fourth closest, its explain she was trapped by Henry for decades, after leaving she want to understand what she is, so she go to William but in the games its happened very different, because the one that trapped her is william afton, isn't never make sense why she going to help him, after being trapped for decades but in her voicelines, she talk about a gift and she want to make Daddy proud, finally, do what she is created for we are very wrong, she was talking to henry, but he didn't understand, what she means do you remember, edwin created a AI to caretaker his kid, named "mimic1" fnaf world, baby ending, henry truly regrets created baby but we know he didn't create circus baby, so this isn't make sense, until you think maybe baby mean is a different thing? what edwin most regrets is to created mimic1 Baby and Mimic1 are the same thing, Baby=Mimic1 william takes baby and creates circus baby the original purpose of baby is to be caretaker of kids fnaf 6 is truly a gift for her, everyone together in one place, now she can truly do what she is created for setting happiest day but in fnaf 6 she say "this feels like my birthday"-Charlie birthday "this feels like home"-Charlie spends all day at the Fredbear family dinner, where henry collect everything to burn, the place that starts everything i didn't never undertand why henry creates lefty , this is torturous prison, where the puppet is always maintain at sleep and continuous shock but i finally understand lefty is a anti-mimic1 made to contain the puppet, that contains AI that is possessed by a ghost of charlie

On first watch i was SURE Abby was going into thr suit. The faxt she wasn't tells me that we will DEFINITELY see BABY at some point

I really don't mind the idea of Abby and Mike being separate from William. It just makes the movie it's own universe/timeline. Like how the books and games are their own universe/timeline. I also really enjoyed the movie. I thought they did a good job.

Given how this movie was a mix of various FNaF elements with FNaF 1 as the base, it seems incredibly likely the next 2 movies would follow suit. The next movie could be a mix of 2, 4 (Vanessa is in a coma after all), and Sister Location while the third could be a mix of 3, Pizza Sim, and Security Breach.

I think Vanessa is a gender bent version of Micheal from the games. In the movie, Spoilers BTW.... Afton said that Vanessa "Caused this" or something along those lines at the end of the movie, implying that the reason he's murdering children is because of her. Now, it could be that he's manipulating her and just saying things to make her go along with his plans, but we have to assume that Afton has a reason for killing children in the movie, and what better motive than a dead child like in the games. It would also give Afton another way to manipulate Vanessa, she can't fight back against her dad because it's her fault that he's like that, he's a murderer because she "murdered" her sibling.
