It’s great being able to see two versions of the same prospecting by watching both yours and Gadzee’s videos 👍🏼 Shame the gold gods weren’t kinder, but as you say - that’s what prospecting is all about…
Your videos remind me of unboxing channels only you're not trying sell people junk. The only thing you're selling is an appreciation for the outdoors, education and just a good time! Love your stuff, Chris!
Yeah the hardest that got here in Arizona this summer was 120 degrees😅 with the wind blowin yeah I'd be curious to see how much gold you have in your wheelbarrow
Hey Chris, I too prospect in an area that was hydraulicly mined. I have a suggestion for you. When you find a bit with the metal detector, take a test pan or two from that spot. The process of hydraulicing the dirt off the bedrock can concentrate the gold in cracks in the bedrock, much like a river, but on steroids. I found a little picker with my metal detector, then worked out the one foot long crack it was in and found over a quarter ounce. That kind of crack is very rare, but it happens.
Chris, firstly good video. Secondly, I went for a walk through a paddock yesty, found some conglomerate that washed down from the floods, crushed it and it had 12 specs for 1 handful of dirt. Great but does this mean there would be more upstream wherever it dislodged from ? ( hill behind my house is a huge goldmine) I'm wondering if it would also still be shedding gold. Hmm maybe it's time I join your patron, so many questions Haha.
When you have a horizontal vein so close to the surface, you should sample it well. It makes it so much cheaper and easier to work it as long as it's a good producer.
Do you ever consider taking a small handvac or shop vac out to get all that dry dirt and material off the bedrock? Something I've noticed Dan Hurd do. Also... as a prospector, do you ever review the local history as far as weather events and geological events go (earthquakes) or maybe recent events that have happened, and try to prospect around areas that may have shifted or changed? Love the channel Chris, RIP Griz
Great video, Chris. What an impeccably squared of chamber. Not worth detecting their mullock pile? Can't believe how quickly the NE has dried out, too.😮
Mining season is done here for another year but right now am scouting the river while it's high and after storms to see changes and try to locate a high bench of gravels or slack water in high flow etc
Chris, 2 spectacular pickers in your pan at the end, which surprised me at their size. Wow! Lucky you! About FB's ad withdrawal, it's outrageous! Why not tell you something is 'wrong' and give you a date to fix it? There are many people who rely on RU-vid for their sole income. They don't have savings or 'jobs.' Isn't there a way for everyone to let FB know how mad we are and request an immediate 'refund' to you?? No wonder I rarely get on FB! I still get hounded by the same ads I hate and the ones I blocked because they were offensive! Just plain ignored. Right. Regardless, I pray for you and wish you much gold in you pans my friend! Blessings from Alabama ❤️
FB do a lot of things without any contact. They froze my account saying it went against community policy…..and no explanation what community policy It was against? Family photos? Golf pictures? Had to open a brand new account.
If you get the chance to visit the UK check out Grimes Graves. You can ( or could 40 years ago!) see 5,000 year old pick marks, smoke stains and the antlers used to mine flint.
You could probably train those crows to find sun baking nuggets in exchange for really really nice food, just need to run an experiment to find out what the most liked/addictive food is 😂😂😂
Hey Chris, (luv ya work n info....), Q- If there was a speci in ya pan would it stay, or get washed out cause it's predominantly rock?? Q2- you put back fly poo and say its gunna grow....Is this really what happens, or would it just go to whrere other poo hangs out?? Awesome crush btw,,,gota be happy with dat!!
i love the fact you are letting gadz get the video out first but i really think you should be linking his channel in the description, just constructive criticism nothing more my friend. The duo videos are sick
In summer, why don’t you guys ever bring a tarp for shade, for when you need to cool off? Heatstroke is a real thing. It’s horrible, not worth the risk.
Mencari emas di indonesia tidak perlu lagi alat2 yang canggih cukup dengan tangan dan menyelam dalam air, maka emas besar pun akan kita dapatkan dalam jumlah banyak
Have thought about thanking your neighbors who have to listen to a lawnmower for ten seconds multiple times a day? Just kidding, my neighbors hate me too. I'm a blacksmith who will forge until about two in the morning. But I get to make my own prospecting tools.
News paper seems recent till you think that petrol was less than a dollar and kids born that year are finishing uni degrees and noone had a Gmail account
Chris that was my brothers name. He always wanted to go prospecting. He took his life in his 47th year another Vet gone. Now I'm doing it for him. thanks Chris for the lessons
Yes in fact he does, over the years he has shown a few, the most venomous one was a "Filthy shoveldogger" about 5'10" in length, scientific name of Seanohtoxicuss bustedknuckluss. A very feisty danger noodle indeed.
😊 you're just added those two pieces of gold back into the river hopefully to find some more can you put a lead shot shotgun pellet back in the water shame on you
youtube is bad.. you cant contact them there is no one to talk to they are a faceless corporation that will just take all your money you earned.. and they will keep it sitting in there bank making interest for them.. they make it impossible to talk to a machine let alone try and talk to someone. nice finds in the rock at the end :) keep up the good work. :)
I don’t understand why RU-vid would demonetize your channel. Can you find out why? Is there recourse and/or appeal available? Makes me sick to my stomach knowing all those years of great content and work is now deemed unavailable for income. A$$holes.
