The 1975 demo of the No More Heroes classic Bitching. Recorded Spring 1975 at Foel Studio, Llanfair Caereinion, Powys Recorded and produced by Ian Gomm Engineered by Dave Anderson
funnily enough, i feel the same. I wonder if in years to come millenials will look back and think 'what great music' as they listen to some manchild rapper full of BS procrastinating, or x-factors greatest hit's - can't see it myself
Fresh, refreshing and raw! The original Stranglers stripped to the bone! How can today's ( 2017 ) version even hope to compare? First time I have heard this original demo and so Thank You and God bless!
Killer. I mean shit. This is incredible. But this can't be the same '75 demo that had Sewer on it - the sound is altogether different for one thing. Ace though.
sounds like a pop version to me. loved it, but it doesnt really say what the album version did. first time i heard it i thought this guys a scary b@stard . Thanks for sharing. Made my night.
@steveobie1 Yes it does sort of, however I think that it's the peculiarity of the demo that it sounds that way ( I have a later demo that sounds completley different). Also the Version on the album sounds more like Born to be Wild by steppenwolf which is a more likely influence as JJ is a biker.
The Stranglers are my fav ever band. But this sounds like a band waiting for a bandwagon to jump on. Luckily the one marked 'punk' came along, and this song was reworked to suit.
@@jamieclapperton2728 the later version was more aggressive and had attitude ..jj sang both .. but both different songs from different music types .. this is a far more 60s type ..where as the later version was pure punk
