Taking my son to see them in March 24. First ever gig and it's the Stranglers, who he adores with the same patholical totality that I did at his age. I've prepared him to have ne hearing for a week afterwards and to be washing beer out of his hair for a month. Bring it on!
Saw them end of February at Cambridge corn exchange. They are incredibly tight, professional and full value. One of the last bastiens of a genuine rock band. Long may they continue 👊👏👍
I saw them play here on the 'No more Heroes' tour. Then each time they played here after. Absolutely untouchable, nothing came close to the energy. They were superb. It all fell apart just before Hugh left. Maybe that's why he left. 45 years later and only one original member and three 'Tribute players' playing places like this? Such a shame.
@@arthurjacksparrow5733 The Apollo? It's the size of a 70's cinema! Yep, you're right about the age though. One ol' Codger I am. I'm off to listen to some Boney M. Much more exciting than The Stranglers nowadays. Being a deaf old twat, I'll have to crank it up though. Kisses!
