Footage from the november 27, 1977 gig at the Paradiso, Amsterdam. Note the wrong subtitle "Something but a change" and JJ jumping (or falling) into the crowd mid-song! Also some after gig footage featuring JJ, Dave and some H. angels. Originally aired in Holland in january 1978.

I was there. There was something very special in the air in 1977.I thought I liked punk. But I liked the stranglers. How cool were they

Paradiso was a great place for many underground bands, until mid 90s when the new board decided to chage the place into "multicultural' and the focus shifted to African music. The fun was over, and Paradiso never recovered.
