Beautiful builds, loving the work you guys do! I have a question on the gas tank since I wanna do the same to my FXBB. When you switched to the 5gal Lowrider tank does the ECM auto-adjust for your fuel capacity and miles to empty, or does it stay based on stock tank size/cpacity?
I have a 2022 Street Bob, I would like to upgrade it to a larger gas tank like a 5 gallon. Would a Low Rider S Gast tank work since its also a softtail build? I need help. What tank do I need to order through HD in order to get a 5 gallon tank on my bike??
Yes, it will bolt up but you could either have a custom seat made or have to do the whole Lowrider back half as well. I don’t think that Seat would match up with a tank but you could give it a try.
@@kruesioriginals I have heard that the new lowrider wheels will fit on some of the older dynas. I have an 04 T sport I need to wheels for and a 16 street bob I wanna replace out the spokes. Plus I don't really wanna pay damn near 2gs for a set on dyna/FXR trader. Any tips for me on this?
I’m in the process of putting a 5 gallon m8 tank on my Street Bob (fxbb). Does anybody know how to get the digital gas gauge working with the new tank and fuel pump?
@@Big-Daddy96 I haven’t quite got my bike back together yet. I’m using a 2022 Softail Slim tank, and I’m getting the fuel pump and sending unit for one of those. I hear conflicting things. I hear that the new sending unit should work with the new float, to it has to be reflashed, to the fuel gauge on the Street Bob (FXBB) will never work with it. Pyrotec in Alton Illinois is in the process of painting it, then they will button it up. I’d really like for the fuel gauge that’s in the FXBB bar clamp to work with the 5 gallon tank. This has been done by quite a few people, so their has to be done answers somewhere. We’d appreciate the help for sure. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@justfine77777 I've been looking high and low for into on the 22 low rider s fuel tank, it's 5 gallons and there's no gauges in it because they moved to the dash for that year model
Can you go into detail on how you got the gauges to work on the tank. I have a street bob but want the bigger tank was in sure how I’d make the dash Work!!!
You just plug it in and then take it to Harley and have them re-flashed the ECM for whatever speedo you were using. Or you can watch our other videos and see how we did it
So from my understanding I can’t just take the low rider s mags a put them on my street bob without switching out the sub frame?and the front tire does it need anything to bolt it on ? Or is it mainly the back tire and is it even worth all that money wise just to put those mags on I’m having a really hard time finding mags
They are the exact same bike. They just have a different tank and fender. If you bought the rear fender section and this tank up, everything will work great with the seat.
@@kruesioriginals well fuck me lol, I wish I would have seen it before I spent the Money on a custom dynamics one tbat does t even sit flat. But fuck it, I’m still going to get one because that looks way better.
