Elvis, according to many who knew him personally may have had an Oedipus Rex issue, ( ie with his mother's death etc ). As for his professional life which was extremely demanding when you consider the amount he achieved; within his private circle esp in Graceland he may have been in charge like an army sergeant - Priscilla Presley nee Beaulieu, has been extremely successful in using the 'Presley' name for her own ends. Appearing in many highly paid movies, having a lifestyle of the rich and famous, with many affairs and being successful in business, awards and charity work. Married, pregnant and then divorced from Elvis was she in some way a reason for him to work as hard as he did after 1973 to pay for the separation. This question is rarely asked. Would she have ever become famous, successful in her own right? She has the executive producer rights to the film 'Priscilla'. This seems to be somewhat hypocritical, as her entire success has originated out of the simple fact, she was married to Elvis Presley.

Well..Elvis has left the building .so why does she still wear so much too much make up??? She was so darling without it and of course all that plastic surgery.. God has allowed their vanities to turn into their sorrows..they look unnatural..ugly even..and it's sad. The whole movie industry is sad. She wanted to marry him so bad because she knew she was losing him to the woman he really loved Ann Margaret. She will never give up the Presley name because otherwise she wouldn't get money from interviews, book deals and even movies, why didn't she marry her sons father because she wanted to keep the Presley name but even worse she wanted their son to have the Presley name, look it up you'll find it.

What do we think of their marriage? I personally think he could have done much better. Priscilla actually liked blue jeans and T shirts from Kmart or Hills store. The love of a mother has no merit with love for a wife. Most of us heard the condition that it was Priscilla' father who told Elvis to marry Priscilla, it's why Col. Tom Parker persuaded Elvis to do so. There are many secrets a couple should always keep between themselves by mere respect for each other. And not continuously throw each other under the bus. I don't recall Elvis throwing any woman under the bus. But protected their character from shame "human life".

We all have choices to make. Priscilla could have left anytime before she married Elvis. Her mother thought it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Well that says a lot. What was she thinking to say that. Money talks I guess. I have nothing against Priscilla but it's one sided here.
