The Striped Livery: Condor Airbus A330-900 

In 2022, German leisure carrier Condor unveiled a bold new livery. The striped theme plays to their “vacationers” business model, inspired by umbrellas, beach towels and ice cream parlors, where color palette consists of green, yellow, blue, red and tan, otherwise named “Condor Island, Sunshine, Sea, Passion and Beach.”
Condor launched the design on their new A330neos, but this motif isn’t the first of its kind. The carrier has what’s called a jellybean livery, made popular by Braniff Airways in the 1970s where, like a jar of jellybeans, the aircraft are painted in a divergent set of colors. For Condor, one color isn’t assigned to any specific aircraft type.
