My main thing when switching from xbox to pc i built was to get my pmdg 737-800 proper Avelo livery and a KHVN done right, see the -700 n -800s over my house on final everyday!
You landed on my favorite runway at IAH! I usually will sit at the end of runway 9 to watch planes coming in from over Lake Houston. I attended Humble High School and on Friday nights at the football games, I would see planes lined up for MILES coming into the airport. Great video!
Thanks for watching! That's great to hear. I used to go spotting at this runway back when I lived in Houston, the Lee Road Observation Area. :) We flew over our family home off of W. Lake Houston, so I would’ve see this flight from my room if I were already there. I’ve also done a couple of videos at the mound on Rankin Rd. alongside runways 15/33, which are on my channel. I took off from there coming back to DC, that I’ll be posting in a couple of weeks.
This was incredibly relaxing to watch! Really well edited and some cool fun facts. I don't think I ever realized that the yellow line didn't go to Maryland at all, which I suppose makes sense since I live in Maryland and yellow is my least ridden metro line.
Thank you for watching. Yes, ever since they cut service in 2023, the Yellow Line is the only one that doesn't go to Maryland. But apparently they're supposed to be restoring service to Greenbelt.
USB ports are planned to be installed at a later date. These are a massive upgrade to the 7000 series for sure. The 6000 series should remain in service for a little while longer
They really *do* need USB ports. If we're stuck on the Silver Line for an over an hour to get to Dulles, the least they could do is give us charging ports. All modern transport should have them.
The 6000-Series Trains (except for the older ones) also have USB Ports, so you're absolutely right with the 8000-Series Trains needing the USB Ports. I hope they have them once the real deal comes out in 2026 (or 2027).
Actually, I think we were on the same flight back to Baltimore. 🤯 I just looked at your channel. Peep my video, "Hi8 Film: Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 | Manchester-Boston MHT - Baltimore BWI - N7815L." Because I remember the aircraft that was parked when we were pulling in. That's pretty cool.
Love that you got to experience coming to southern CT and flying out of Tweed! Such a small airport. It will cost some big time $$$ to expand it, but most of the neighboring residents are (of course) against it. CT needs more airport options than just BDL.

Interesting, thank you. I remember that many people thought the gap (eliminating in 1991) was because of racism and that the city and Metro believed those stations would be a loss in revenue. I think some even then argued that the city and Metro was surprised by the business and money made by those stations.
Where is the best place to spot for a 10 yo kid? My son has a YT channel and i thought about bringing him down to MSY because there's more variety in planes and airlines.

Pro tip: If you're taking Amtrak into town from the south, you might want to get off at Alexandria and take either the Blue or Yellow line from there instead of going all the way to Washington Union Station and taking the Red from there. You can save as much as half an hour! (With VRE it is a little different because there stops at Crystal City and L'Enfant Plaza.)
Great HD video. HVN's runway seems short for sustained 737 operations. I used to live & work not far from there years ago and was surprised Avelo choose the airport as a hub for their east coast operations given the short runway and populated area. Loved watching the southerly take off with the view of Long Island sound.

The only thing about this I know I won't like is -the heated floors -the seats look so uncomfortable Like what's the point of heated floors Like ain't no one is walking bare foot to feel the temperature of the floor
I've been searching the internet to figure out what line goes from harper's ferry to DC. Even the Marc website is a bit confusing. This, by far, is the best video. Thank you! Now I can continue my vacation to do list! Pretty stoked
Haven't been to JFK in decades. Love the video. Used to drive my dad to JFK because he traveled to Germany a lot for business. Reminds me of watching the planes arrive and depart with the kids from the upstairs observation deck JFK had. Is that where the TWA Hotel is now?
Great to hear! That's really cool, and I'm glad you like the video. Yes, the TWA Hotel is the same building where TWA planes used to park before they went out of business. They added hotel towers on each side of the old concourse hall.
