Never played league, don't know the characters at all. But when I was describing this game to my friends who play league, they were able to identify the characters just from my broad descriptions of them, so I assume they went with well-known ones.

I know none of those characters. I felt bad when I got pictures with two their cosplayers, who were awesome, but I had no idea who the sword guy and sexy lady were.

Now I just pay attention to lore stuff cause these characters lore is awesome.
The real problem with this game is going to be the perverted Let God Burn Them Quickly inserts they will do with some characters to get you to accept them.
nowadays no one really plays league anymore, people only USED to play league, and maybe jump in for an aram or smth. 2XKO is gonna be played A LOT in the beginning. Depending on how they handle it people will stay or wont. But the LEAGUE community is known for not taking accountability for anything. So league players will play, lose, blame lag, blame the other person and never play again.
One buttons specials will never not be a joke. They think it brings new players to the game, but all it does is allow more experienced players to beat their ass easier.
