It's so easy to focus on the other "better" side that we lose sight of our own's that's also well maintained in the first place. It is as pressuring, if not more, for a female - linking our "biological clock". Reducing my time on social media has helped tremendously to focus on myself. Great discussion and reminders to everyone no matter what ages they are in.

Your twenties should be not be focused on achieving things. It should be spent experiencing as many things as possible, trying things that interest you, be willing to take risks. Got an idea for a business, go do it. Forget about failures and mistakes. If you fail, so what, get up, learn from the experience and try again.

I hope you guys don't stop making podcasts because it has been really therapeutic / healing listening to you all talking about life. I'll drop by again to listen whenever i need a pick me up / not to compare self with others. That high expectation i think is the real kill joy of life though. :) Thank you for this enlightening episode!!

I can’t agree more about journaling, your fear and problems and even if your not consistent you will come to a time where the current problem( at time of writing it)would not have much effect or impact towards your when you re-read it . Just wanted to share my experience in it , well i went into depression during the lockdown, where I questioned everything from my choices and my future where I was not up to my pears and I was the only one not doing well in my studies (I’m not the smartest student but I was what you call hardworking)but my hard work wasn’t paying up in medical school, I was competing with the cream of the country and then it hit me. Why do I care what they get , so what if you fail, retake the paper and the only thing you gain is knowledge. I can’t be beating myself up just because it wasn’t going my way (in away my first real failure) my parents didn’t scold me for my results but just was extremely positive that I realised that not everyone had a roof over their head, supportive parents and a really nice family that let me break down so that when I got back up I wasn’t worried about failing. Reading my journal now only made me realise that you are growing every day and we will make mistakes and that mistakes is what builds you (make you unique in a way) my friends don’t understand how I can be so happy even if I got a 49.1 in a paper well I see it as an opportunity to just try again, so what if you try again , you will be ok , that down will teach you what is the meaning of success. I went from a person who dreaded failure to a person who try’s again. I’m in my 3rd year now and I have finals in December so just know that it will be hard so let’s just give it a try most important is that you try. I too am not active on social media and honestly it’s great.

Really appreciate this week's episode! The uncertainty of the future is definitely what scares me the most but I'm learning to take matters one at a time, because there's only so much we can control.

the only expectation that matters is the one that you set for yourself.
