Good day from South Africa, thanks a lot for including my submission. The whole cabinet is self built, I don't have any problems with heat as I pull air in from the bottom and exhaust out the top.
I really like to have the option of turning on/off the leds. If possible, if the leds can be dimmed, that would be amazing, but if cost is a limiting factor, just being able to turn it off would already be great!
I don't know if it's supported by all Mikrotiks, but at least for the RB5009, you can turn off the LEDs with this command: /system/leds/settings/set all-leds-off=immediate
In my opinion i would like to see more color for the design. For the bright leds i like it how it is. Maybe if they were user configurable in routeros. Turn off or on.. and to adjust brightness?
Regarding LED brightness. You could add some knob in the settings and drive all LEDs with PWM if it's not too much hassle. I personally use a tape to dim blue LEDs. They are like flashlight at night.
I like the design of hAP lite classic case. Please release HAP AX in classic case. ...and a compact version of CAP AX. Competitors have AX APs with 160-180mm diameter.
I hope to see something like HaP mini with 3 Gbit ports ( poe in 1 port) and 2.4 wifi to use for "fazenda" setup or to take it in travel as secure connecton to home network.
Free idea - LLM that generates configuration for MikroTik devices from description of what you want it to do. Could make changing to MT easier, as you don't need to learn new OS and CLI to get started.
