@@Sukiieeee well it's not necessary a racist term. Kawaii means cute, so saying "I like to dress in the style kawaii" is the same way of saying "I like to dress cutecore". Because core at the end of a word could mean an aesthetic. So saying kawaii or cutecore are basically the same. However even though it is not racist, the correct term for " cutecore" is jojifuku! ^_^ I sincerely hope this helped! ヾ(^-^)ノ
@@strawbunn1ez Well, it's not that simple, I'll explain to you why cutecore is wrong. I hope you can understand since my English is pretty bad(๑•﹏•). Cutecore is a problematic term because it was created to mock and stereotype alternative people who wear jojifuku, and it's also a xenophobic term because when you call jojifuku cutecore you're simply summarizing kawaii culture and the jojifuku subculture into just one style, Jojifuku is an ancient subculture that has history, and summarizing it to just one style is stupid.
Thank you so much for your support it is greatly appreciated, I do want to do a video on yumikawa but it might take a bit since editing takes to long, I am currently editing a video on coquette ^_^
@@vocaloid861 no it's totally ok ^_^ btw my next video is going to be either on sweet lolita or decora Kei but then after that I will try to do yamikawa ^_^
Hello!!! I like this video esp because you added my skirt pic from mercari (first one on second round) ^_^!! HOWEVER there is a teensy bit of misinfo here ,, meloclaws isnt actually jojifuku but cutecore! If u want more info I made a video essay explaining in-depth :3
Uh I hope I don't come off as rude but cutecore isn't really a it's own style it's just a different term for kawaii fashion and I'm sure u know that there is A LOT of subcultures to kawaii fashion and no matter how you put it, based on mostly all the videos of her dressing up falls into the category of jojifuku^_^ (Sorry if I come off as rude! )
Also off topic but I saw ur oc in ur video and i thought it was really cute! I was wondering if I could draw you some png's of ur oc to possibly use in ur videos? if ur interested ofc! (๑˃̵ ᴗ ˂̵)و
@@strawbunn1ez ok so in response, cutecore is in fact it’s own style! We’ve never seen anything like it before, not even in jojifuku. Cutecore came from an American poster and spread all around America, so it is a westernized fashion that takes inspiration from jojifuku, yumekawaii, yamikawaii, and gorukawaii. And while yes there are a lot of subcultures to kawaii culture, cutecore is relatively new (born in 2020) so it barely has any culture or history to it as of right now, and it originated in America, not in Japan. Although yes meloclaws does wear jojifuku and has a good collection, her audience is cutecore based and she is very openly cutecore based, and she is also a big consumer, which would put her in the cutecore category because jojifuku is collection based! Hope this helps out a bit with explaining as to why I said that ^_^/gen
@@strawbunn1ez and thanku smm!!! It’s a maybe because I’d prefer drawing it myself as I already have lots of expressions ready for it, and a friend does want to draw her for me! :3
@@RaezelTBM_multifandom of course! Jojifuku is for everyone, you can always put hairclips on ur hijab and wear wide leg jeans or q flowy skirt!! It's just what you are comfortable with!!
