"im gonna work on the 914" all the 914 comunity "whomst awaken the ancient one" hahaha also about the step in the garage is better Just to smooth by add more concrete but carefull, Just cant pour fresh concrete to old concrete, you need to prepare the surface with a chicel and a Hammer by chipping the surface and before pour the concrete make sure is nice and wet because it is dry the concrete gonna pop off, another thing make sure to use aditives for the concrete for a better grip and after you pour it, every like 2 to 3 hour hidrated the concrete mix by pouring small quantities of water otherwise is gonna get all White and dusty
That rack was a day or two from deathtrap status. Yowwwza! I had a hopped up gen1 Fiesta that I drove through a stone wall. So random, I was driving it hard down a country road and a small pebble bounced just right and went into the manual rack. It stuck turning left, so I yanked it hard right and it let go on the second attempt. Turned to far right and it stuck again, no time and boom! Right through the wall. The boot over the inner tie rod end was wide open, split all the way around. The car was smoked! I had another body as a spare so it ended well. But what a horrifying experience with no steering. The worst.
