@@sebastiaanheide8796 no they were never "friends." They were only people who had mutual interests, when one showed up with the other, you'll notice that there's usually a reason for it. Remember in the Election Arc, Hisoka genuinely thought about killing Alluka to earn Killuas rage or kill Killua to have Illumi's. He's always been focused more on fighting and they have alluded to at one point they'll probably kill the other. As they dont have much of a use for the other now, they're fair game as someone to be killed

That's just a rumor but given that I haven't heard his health has improved that much and how damn good some of the Dark Continent Arc art has been, I believe it.

I also want to see how Netero and his team explored the Dark Continent in a small arc. That would be epic.

That is the thing, I believe the reason of all of this happening just in the known world, and incredibly slow chapters, is that the story will end with the dark continent. Either it ends with an open ending, like the hunters discovering a new and to never be told adventure, or everyone get's killed by overpowered nen monsters/gods and humanity is then again locked in their small tiny world.

With so much inner turmoil going on in that ship ( especially with Hisoka, Phantom Troupe, AND Kuropika on board!!) I don’t see how anyone other than Beyond Netero and the Zodiacs making it alive lol

Man, the build up of Hisoka wanted (lusted) for a death match with Chrollo. Is a PLOT on its own!. Then the actual fight itself, placed in my top 4 fights in anime (Goku vs. Freeza "my childhood bias"; MADAO vs life* and Avatar Aang vs. Firelord Ozai)

Shows how much you can do in 10 chapter batches. Easy to forget how important every chapter is, one piece and others just spam them without much content. Already best HXH arc for me. Togashi improved the art aswell.

I wouldn't be surprised if something happens that shotens what fans thinks the show can extend to, most of togashis arcs in hxh have all had extremely uncommon and odd endings almost nobody was predicting, as far as we know everyone on the ship just dies except a few who make it off to the dark continent and their plotlines get wrapped up immediately we really don't know. Aside from that assuming we actually get the dark continent arc, it could mostly be about ging finding don and pariston causing everyone else issues as they try to work together to survive and then when they head back to the normal world gyro has taken over because all the power vacuums and then the show ends with that, overall i wouldn't be surprised if it was surprisingly short, at least compared to what people are expecting. But togashi also has a habit of taking his time so who knows if its 1000 episodes we probably aren't getting the full story unfortunately

Considering the lengths of them, as well as his own public statements, his health is not great and working on this series takes a toll on him. Thus, I imagine POPO is showing sympathy for the man and his family, as his general well-being should be prioritized over writing a manga.

@@jaguartony Honestly, I think the arc would work better animated. Voices would probably help identify the various characters a bit easier. Though the big monologues would definitely make the anime more wordy than usual.

It's absolutely possible. As OP as Emperor Time is, its draw backs are insane. I don't remember exactly how much time it takes from you per second of usage, but if he continues to use it the way he is he most likely won't make it to the Dark Continent.
