It was around this time that I discovered them. I just remember seeing their stage energy at a live show and being blown away by their intensity. Went home and bought their first two albums. Still one of my favorite bands to this day.
That whole Destruction By Definition and Battle Hymns era was my favorite. The live shows were perfect. After that, their records got a little silly to me.
@PressRecordVids Listen to "A Match and Some Gasoline", "War Profiteering", and "Revolution Spring" again. They're quite excellent. The two in between "Battle Hymns" and "A Match and Some Gasoline" are definitely an acquired taste. I'll give you that.
Also, must add... I was a fledgling little punk at the time, having an appreciation for vocalists that could shred... Jason Navarro sounded like a tiger let out of a fuckin cage. Greatest Punk Scream voice of all time.
