Teachers who quit need therapy. For their sanity. I did. I was a second career teacher, worked for Department of Defense and military life……I lasted two years. I was treated like trash. I had such hopes and it had been a huge financial investment and I was treated like the enemy. Principal was anti military, I was warned about military talk in school. Oh, the stories I could tell……
I’m sorry to hear it went that way. At one point I had big dreams to be a DoD teacher at an international base. I found a position at an international school in Vietnam instead (those schools hire sooner it just worked out). I hope you’ve found your way and healed your wounds ❤️🩹 I hope you subscribe for more tales from the classroom
Congratulations!… I wish there were more teachers like you. You have ALWAYS been one of my favorites and my son benefited so much from you while in your class and I will always appreciate that🥰 I send you many blessings in your career and I know you will succeed abundantly ❤️
Thank you! Now that it's December, I am doing even better. I am growing a lot and feel really happy with how much I've evolved this year 😄 If you haven't already I'd love it if you subscribed ❤
Congratulations on your decision. I am completing my fifth year and will teach one more, during which time I will be preparing to transition out of the classroom. I very much look forward to being in your current state of "elation."
Thank you so much! 5 years is a huge milestone in teaching, many leave before then. I hope you find something that makes you happy. I’d love it if you subscribed 🌟
Thank you for watching ❤️ you’re so right, I have learned a lot about setting those boundaries. Teaching pulls on your heart strings which can make it hard to know when to step away for the evening. Best of luck with your class this year!
