I'm extremely grateful that Jenny had an Asian American main character instead of the caucasian person like the cover showed because I'm a 14 yo asian american I've never seen a romance drama that had an asian main character, it also got me believing that I probably wouldn't find a relationship like the ones boys/girls have with the 'pretty white main character' I really resonated with Belly and it gave me hope that I could have someone be friends with me like that because usually I'm not the one people at school look to first, they usually look towards my white friends. (words can't describe how 'at home' I felt watching this show)

I think the casting is PERFECT!!!!! My only qualm is with the scriptwriters, and that is with some of the foul language put into the mouths of the actors. We have too much profanity and cheap vulgarity in the world today and that is linked to the violence we see now. Wouldn't it be wonderful to set a positive example? Huh, Gavin?
