It was a breakout season for Australia's newest No.3 batter Marnus Labuschagne, cracking the first four Test centuries of his career and stamping himself as a star on the international stage.
Jofra Archer's vicious bouncer to Smith during the Ashes was the turning point in the very short test carrier of Marnus Labuschagne and he did not look back after that and the rest is history.
As you said, the rest in history, Marnus Labuschagne is now the best Test Match batsman in The World and is First Placed in The ICC Men’s Test Match Batsmen 👏 👏 🇦🇺
Marnus and Steve were never highly rated batsmen in their junior years like prodigies of Clarke, Ponting, Watson etc but they both transformed into world class players through sheer grit, determination, passion and love for the game.
David Goat they never realized their potential early like Clarke, Ponting, Watson etc. It was all psychological, it took a while for them to realize they possess incredible skill and talent.
@@niranjankumar-hv9hh no he got injured by a bouncer in the ashes and Marcus labuschagne came in as his substitute and he played so well then they decided to keep him in the team alongside Steve smith and this is what happened..
22nd of June is the date this written on and it is mine and Marnus's birthday today. What a day to be born. Happy b'day spaghetti arms. thumbs up if you agree this is the start of something special.
Rithick are you ok his cover drives are perfect footwork is not has I’m important as timing body weight transfer and playing through the line of the cover drive have you seen Babar azam he doesn’t have footwork but it’s just sp good
6:52 There he gets the outside edge... There he gets the boundary... And there he puts an exclamation mark on of the great summers of Australian Cricket !!! OHH WHAT WORDS!
Marnus labuschagne is really an emerging player in 2019 .he hits ball by his bat in gap. I salute his manner to play. He is fulfilled with not only with agility but also with morality.
first time i saw him on field was in 2014 vs india as a sub. can't believe that for a guy like him, it took so long to make debut. but since then he didn't stop.
As an Indian fan, who is about to see Ind vs Aus test series in a week, this guy scares me more than Steve Smith or David Warner.. but as an Aussie fan, he is a treat to watch.. definite superstar in the future
I want to say thank you to Jofra Archer😏😏 for those bouncers. One bouncer gave Marnus a Chance to play and another bouncer turned Marnus into an absolute beast......
He looks like a future legend of Australian cricket. He has a got a very bright future if performs in the other parts of the world the way he has performed on home soil.Great to watch a cricketer like him playing amazing classical shots of cricket.
Corey Hayes But Marnus will have to give the level best Kohli is currently top and fastest to 8000,9000,10000 odi runs marnus has made a name in test will he be able to make a name for himself in odi and t20 as his type of game fits odi and test there will be no chance for him in t2o he cant make runs fast
@@vivaanshenoy1236 he need not be the best in all format. He should just focus on tests and try to be sachin instead of Kohli. Sachin averaged 57 after 175 test matches. Lets see if Labuschagne can do that.
M Labuschagne will become Captain of Australia Cricket team and will be remembered in world cricket one the best batsman of all-time. It's my pridiction, I saw him batting first time against England and got to know that this player has something special in him, cover drive, late cute, on drive everything is just pic perfect. God bless him and god bless Australia, love from India. Shubham Rawat
bhai wo australia hai ...india nahi hai jahan players ko captaincy karne ki bhookh hoti ho . Warna smith abhi tak test captaincy wapas le chuka hota tim paine jaise below average player se .
@@divvagg5616 I'm with you bhai, bhai lekin coming years me, say for 5 to 6 years he will be regarded one as Virat Kohli or amonh other best players in the world. I agree with you.
@@shubhamrawat7856 excellent. He was the 1st batsman to score 1000 in county championship division 2, and then I was like "this guy can play, must be in the Ashes squad and he can be one of Australia top performers". Which he was.
Good test player. Kind of reminds me of Kane because he waits for the ball. But he is a little lose not as disciplined as Kane with his technique. Also, he got whips like Smith. He is gonna be a big test batsman in the coming years.
Can't wait til we go to India, it will be a huge challenge for him trying to attack the spin, but we have very few players who can play spin at all. Will be an awesome learning curve.
That's Pujara like batting from Marnus Labuschagne. Although his strike rate was better than Pujara. This guy just bats and bats long. What a cricketer this Marnus Labuschagne is. A future superstar. Surely Australian Cricket is in very safe hands.
