I apreciate it bro. I played in the parking lot with my daughter for 2 1/2 hours to get the video. If you look close you can see me pushing her around on her tricycle. Ha, Ha.

Thanks man. Yeah, It's kind of freaky when it gets dark.

Spent my whole life driving past that rocket almost everyday. Have been away from Huntsville for a few months cause I joined the Navy but this was a good reminder of home.

It's hard to visualize exactly how big this thing is until you've seen it from miles away on I-565. However, note that the very tip is touching many of the clouds that pass by.

Any chance they'd let you do an episode about time and sundials around the base of the Saturn V? It would make a pretty darn cool central point!

For those who haven't seen it, it is breathtaking! Right off I-565, impossible to miss! I also love the fact that in front is the biggest Alabama state flag I've ever seen!!

can anyone tell me if that actual rocket was used, or if its just a reproduction?

jflandrvr00 that rocket was not used. it is actually smaller than the real thing so planes dont hit it. if you ever visit huntsville be sure to go to the museum because they have the full sized saturn rocket that was used for testing split up in all of its stages.

Why doesn't the rocket make everything look tiny???? Its cutting through the cloud cover yet the flags and the building don't look like toys... Must be some oversizing going on there.
