The sunshot to me personally is d2 nostalgia. I didn’t play literally anything after the red war and it’s hard how mixed up the d1 and early d2 days are for me but I remember playing the demo at Best Buy and selecting the warlock who was equipped with a sun shot and I remember booting up my first play through and that whole no light intro. After I got to the old farm, I went on RU-vid to find that intro and the theme that was playing during it. I wish I had the opportunity to play as much as I play it now. Even the original red war. The fact that we got to live it through and everything changed and “moves on” was fantastic albeit now sad that we can never replay it

I’m a huge fan of sunshot In both PvE/PvP. Though I admit as a warlock main it is at times hard to land my shots. I hate to say this but I find it easy hitting my shots when I play on old solar hunter when headshots increase stability
If they ever give the Sunshot a +10 or +15 Aim Assist buff, it'll stand right up there with the best of them. (Though an ornament that changed the color of the dot to something NOT flame-colored would be nice too)
I always thought a glowing blue and black ornament called "Orion's Shadow" would've been sick and it still fits the whole star/sun theme by using inspiration from the Sirius star
The whole idea is the little sun orb dealy as a "Magazine" the absolute could give us an Ornament that could literally change the entire gun model as long as it kept a little caged sun! Asking for an Ornament that just makes it more usable isn't much is it!? Haha.

that reverse shoulder charge reminded me of when I had this advisor call me at work and ask me to call his client. Same reaction and vrrrrp noise and everything when I heard the client's name was Mr. Weiner 😂😂. I think called him by his first name and immediately switched to "sir" for the rest of the conversation.

I remember when destiny 2 first came out and I bought it for my ps4, I was just fooling around at the cabal part of the map on earth(cant remember the specific name but it was somewhere in the EDZ) and I got my first exotic from a legionary which happened to be the sunshot, I was going ballistic over it and wouldn't stop using it until they decided to get rid of the red war and it disappeared from my hunter. was a sad day indeed
Sunshot was a go to for me through most of D2, recently pulled it back out to run with a hunter solar build and it still feels so good to use. Think mine has my 2nd most lifetime kills of all my weapons, lol.
one of the good things about sunshot being if you use it for a while then go to any other handcannon you'll now perform 100% better than you did previously with that handcannon lol

Play it on an osmiomancy shadebinder to get the most freezes off. Freezing procs whsiper of hedrons. This will give you +30 mobility/resilience/recovery, +40 AE, and significant increases to stability and aim assist.
Hey sir d, if you use the path of burning steps, I think each kill you get with a solar ability or weapon your weapon increases damage and also with the solar class you can make sunspots and while in that you can become radiant and do even more damage
I like how sirD puts stats at the end really nice to know it will take me double that to get near as good as him with the sunspot cuz I'm ass with hand cannons.(not trying to sound sarcastic if my post does)
Sunshot was one of the first exotics I got when I started playing 2 years ago...and the damned catalyst has yet to drop for me. Been running it in strikes solid for 6 months now and all I got is jack squat to show for it. Grrrrr....
I know it's an off topic question but can someone tell me how SirD makes his thumbnails.. I really want to learn how to do them myself especially the ones where his destiny character is on the cover and is doing a random thing like pointing a gun for example. Great video as always
