For those interested in this language fact : In french we add '' - ette '' at the end of things that are small, or as an Endearing mark for what's cute (and feminine... Not '' baguette '' though! It's a coincidence, Altough baguette means small stick... ) The word '' pitchoune'' or ''pitchounette'' is traditional regional dialect from the South of France (the French version of '' Bubba '' for American southerners I guess 🙂) That adult usually use for cute little girls or younger women, sometimes for cute female pets... It happens to fit perfectly here!

Actually it's not that complicated.. It's just a pun between "peach" and "pitch" from "pitchounette" (which is used to name a cute little girl) but yes it's from the south of france edit : we never add "-ette" to things that are small or cute. "-ette" from "pitchounette" only is here because it's the female version of "pitchoun"

Peut-être que tu ne le fais pas, mais je le fais et toutes les personnes que je connais le font (pour des mots féminins, cela dit). Par exemple, "fillette" pour "petite fille", "minette" pour une femelle chat, "starlette" pour "star", "fourchette" par rapport à une "fourche", "scénette" pour une courte "scène" (même si l'orthographe correct est "saynète"). Certains disent "mamounette" pour "maman", etc. J'au d'autres exemples en tête mais ils ne sont pas tous publics. Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est bien un suffixe à connotation "mignonne" et souvent petites concernant des noms féminins.

How amazing is it that kids and us kids at heart all over the world are all having this incredible shared experience regardless of geopolitical status or anything else. Fans in China, Russia, Iran… everyone gets a dub. This movie is beautiful and timeless

Yeah, but as an iranian, I must add that the dub version of the song was kinda bad at best and garbage at worst. The lyrics weren't translated very well, and the voice actor wasn't even trying to sing This is because political garbage actually DOES effect countries like Iran, unfortunately. And The dubs are usually unofficial done by immature or medium level voice actors ((not saying good voice actors don't exist in Iran ofcourse but I'm saying it's rare)) Oh and also because the government of Iran isn't interested in SuCh SiNs As SiNgInG, people don't get very good education when it comes to musical performance. But yeah loved the Mario movie lol

But this dub wasn't shown in Russia, instead shown in neighboring post-soviet countries like Kazakhstan. This dub was made by SC Produb in Israel (they also made the Hebrew dub)

El del Doblaje Latino está mucho más afinado, y parece que tiene más experiencia cantando que incluso Jack Black. Definitivamente, el Doblaje Latino y que buen cantante en ese doblaje, ahora sí me tomo enserio que Bowser está enamorado de Peach y sin sonar ridículo.
