these are neither the writer (Steve Leonard) nor the original performers (The Pyramids) of "Penetration", and this is not nearly an "identical to the record version", so i submit that THEY are not "milking it ......" . this is one of the most recognized (and requested) instrumental surf numbers, and most surf bands feel rather obligated to include their version in a play list. call it evolution, not growth..........
