These ladies opened up for the Rev H Heat in Santa Cruz, CA at Moe's Alley. I was hooked...super fun band...great look and killer players. I said hello to Nicole and complimented the band. Southern Culture on the Skids is one of my favorites and I thought they captured the Mary Huff "vibe". They also reminded me of that Japanese band 5,6,7,8's from Kill Bill. Rocking band and killer look and vibe. All the best to you ladies, I hope to see you again.

When I saw you were going to be in Troy, NY on the 4th I was sad because I already have plans that night and that's like 45 minutes from my house, but I'm going to be In Hamilton Ontario for some other bands on the 10th and will be coming back through Rochester on the 11th and will see you there instead! A must purchase. The Surfrajettes are so good at keeping us guessing, I'd not heard so much as a whisper about this.. Given that vinyl takes 7 months to press this must've been in the pipeline since the spring. The A side an original Damoff/Freeman composition and the B side one of their so well chosen covers. They're a bit more than just covers aren't they. Hi Tide have suggested that Banshee Bop will be released on vinyl next year. Presumably then that's four new tracks that might be premiered next week at Boston. Let's hope that we see more of the group on You Tube, all four of them.
